Hope all the pregnant moms are doing well!

I think it was Kimika that asked about lettering? Go check out www.theletterlady.co.za - she got some lovely stuff and I've ordered my son's new name cut-outs for his new room.

AFM - everything still going well! Just feeling very bloated the last few days, I must have eaten somthing that doesn't agree with me! LOL

Morning ladies

I am off to the chiropractor and then to pick up my mom. So may not be back until this evening.

So lady mommy in labour...she didnt call last night and I ended up sleeping so restlessly dreaming of her! Anyway, she called at 5:45am to say the pains were very bad (apparently she did go to hospital at midnight and was sent home being 1cm dilated)
so I told her to go back (even though they told her to go when her waters break - crazy!! sometimes that only happens as baby is coming out!!). anyway. I still have not heard from her???

I may possibly still be able to help her out later. As long as I spend at least a couple of hours with my mom she'll understand if I have to go for a few hours to help this mommy. Shame...poor thing.

So excited that I only hav 6 days until my next scan!!! So much nicer waiting 2 weeks than 4 weeks

Hi H-buzz.. wow we missed you Shoo but you really had an awfull weekend! So glad you are doing ok now. Did the dr say why you had that sudden bleed?? I can just imagine how you mustve felt at seeing a bloodclot.. I would def have totally freaked out!! And sorry for the car incident too.. my hubby did that last year and our one tire is still without a cap Also Congrats on another little boy!! Dont worry for feeling sad.. I know how you feel and it does take a bit of time to get used to the idea of another boy! I can also hardly imagine myself running after boys the whole time!! Please come visit us more often!! xxx

Meags, not a nice situation.. but like you said.. not a good idea to drive there at night!! I hope she understands!!

shame h-buzz!!! What a commotion going on in your life! So glad no one was hurt in the accident though and so glad all is fine with your baby. congrats on the boy!!! I know how you feel about wanting pink - but a healthy baby is the most important thing

ladies, one of the mom's I said I would doula for is in labour still early labour. she hasnt gone to the hospital yet. but I explained to them when I met her 2 weeks ago that I cannot commit fully as my mom is arriving and we are going to be away alot, I am on call at work etc. so I said they should rather try find someone else. anyway. she says she cant find someone else and now I feel like she is pressuring me to be there.

I am not trying to be mean...but it's 10pm and she is only going to the hospital later (Joburg Gen) and I dont feel safe or comfortable driving this late at night to that area. Also, if something happens, I have no hubby around to call for help?! I hope I am not being selfish???? (well - I kind of feel that I need to be selfish in this situation...) anyway. I told her a white lie and said I was working tomorrow I hate telling little lies. But her english is not great and I thought if I had to explain I have a chiropractor appointment at 9am and have to pick up my mom from the airport at 10:30am, she might not really understand what my point is!

hi guys, im just soo tired, so deff no personals... had a w/end from hell!!! went out for supper on sat night n as soon as i ate had this urge to go toilet.. sorry tmi.. but anyway went n stomach was working and as soon as i wiped there was blood, n looked again there was a whole big clot there.. just freaked out n tried to get hold of gyne n just cldnt.. anyway ph parklane n they asked me to come to maternity ward n they would get hold of doc.. shame poor doc was at her sons matric function n she was soo sweet.. came down at 12 in the morning to do a scan n thank god everything was ok...
then last night we decided to go to this Portuguese place in turrffontein for seafood and dh didnt see an island.. ( it was a road we wernt familiar with n he was doing speed as we were late) n next best thing we had 2tyre blowouts n mags completely finished.. Thankgod friends of ours drove down then n there cse where we had the accident it was so quiet n late at nightt.. so yea were sitting with no car and damages close to 6000R!!!!!! Atleast its getting sorted n nobody was hurt..
n this morning went to gyne,everything is looking good, i havent put on any weight in 4mths.... and yea its another boyy!!! i was quite dissapointed as i REALLLY REALLYY wanted a girl n just started crying dere..... but as the day went by i have had time to get used to the idea and have come around it as long as its a healthy baby.. i cant ask for more.. like my mom says imagine ( im quite small built) u a mom of 3boys!!!! i can just imagine 15years later when they all grown up n gonna be taller then me.... oh yea no pretty pinks n ribbons n frills for meee..... sorry for such a selfish post... but i just needed to vent out... hope all is well with everybody elseee...

Joli - how can you be worried about 4kg???? I have gained 7kg at 17 weeks. My gynae has said nothing The past week I have hardly eaten. Had no appetite etc. And stil gained more than 500g. I am pleased though that it's all on my belly.

Lucy - stay away from the insects!!! Glad you are feeling better though Not long until your scan!

Lucy, seems like you are attracting all sorts of insects maybe you should consider doing an insect theme Hey, why not take an overdose of garlic? That should keep all the crawlies away!! Oo and I also loooove giraffes and then ofcourse the zebras Ive gone and enlarged the animals that I painted on the canvas. Next week Ill go buy the suede and then Im starting to sow them onto fabric for the duvet and pillows. So excited cant wait to get started... found the perfect fabric today so just waiting for some $$$ next week!

Girls, do any of you know where I can find some really nice lettering? I want to do something with the boy's names in their room (ok thats if I ever find a name for this little bean growing)!!
