Just a few personals:

Driekie - That is so sweet about Markus and the playing cricket together comment. I always thought I would like 2 boys.

Lucy - I hope you feel better soon and I am sure Seb will be fine. Good that you started with the medication.

VBAC ladies - Good on you for wanting to try for normal birth. But also good that you keep an open mind about possible C section. But believe me, the recovery after normal birth is just amazing. You won't regret it.

To all - Thanks for the compliments about bump and LB. To myself I do look huge. I was out of my normal clothes by 7-8 weeks, so deffinitely not my imagination, LOL.

I have loads of work to do this morning. Quite stressful, so I will be keeping a low profile. 1 week 1 day till my next scan, yeah! To all going for a scan soon, enjoy!!!

Alexander (the Great) born 17 Feb 2009, now a little man:-)

morning ladies!!

EmsMom - I am completely pro-natural without pain relief. However, I do believe that if one chooses epidural, that is THEIR choice and it's not a wrong one. As long as they have researched all the pro's and con's of it as I think many mommy's just know about the fact that it makes the pain go away but dont know the other effects it has on mom and baby.
And as for c-section - if one chooses to have an elective, it is no one else's business why she chose that. Her life, her body, her baby! And if that's what she chooses because she's happier that way, then that's good :)

Lucy - glad I put your mind at ease a bit! I dont think you need to worry about the antibiotics...especially since you 15 weeks already. Rather make sure Seb doesnt get any effects of the tick bite fever.

Kimika, Lucy will probably have a second name (gosh and the arguments begin again!!) but it wont be double barrel as DH hates long names! he wants them short and simple :p

Areej - I agree with Kimika about waiting for them to deliver your placenta, weigh the baby, clean you up etc etc. usually they will weigh baby while delivering your placenta and stitching you (if necessary) and your kids dont wanna see that!! Also, baby will be screaming while being weighed which might make the kids sad!

1 more day until the scan!!

Lucy, how are you feeling today? Its so hard to say, as I woul be stressed as all hell, but try not to stress too much. I know of a few women who have been on antibiotics while PG and all their babies are 100%

Meags, thanks for the links. I'm a little scared to ask nerf, she is very outspoken about it being the only way forward, I'm going to route of I'd like natural, but will have c-section if I need. Also I am going to get all the pain meds I can :)

Oh I'm going to ask one of my closest friends to be my boula. Is there stuff she can read up on??

Kimika, can we see the photos?? I eventualyl just did a homemade chocolate sauce and whipped cream with strawberries.. so much for them being on diet - they still had 2 burgers each... and starters.

Kaylae - VBAC is vaginal birth after c-section.

Tonight we are going to play laser quest in Suit! If any of you watch How I met your Mother you'll know why :) Going to be fun!
Also going to babysit little Kaylee again, so looking forward to that today.

Ok let me try remember what it was I wanted to say :)

Lucy, shame man!! I cant believe you got tick fever :( I wanted to say this morning that it sounds like it but my post got lost.. Dont feel to blame!!! Those damn things can crawl on you from absolutely anywhere :( I hate them sooo much

Meags, Im so happy that your hubby is getting more involved!! Maybe he is just someone who takes a bit longer to adjust to changes.

And those fluttery feeling right above your pubic bone is def your little babie tickling you ;)

I love your names.. liked the boy name since you first said you were thinking of it! What about adding something to Lucy making it double barrel? hehe.. ok sorry Im just a fan of long or double names :)

Faw, thats so amazing that those people brought you all the goodies :) Great to see people still care!!

Emsmom, sounds asif you guys had a great weekend!! OOo you are making me excited with your talk of going natural! Im sure you will be happy with the experience :P You can ask Nef for VBAC info too. So what did you make for pud??

Areej, I would say rather wait until baby is cleaned and cutely and snugly sleeping before you show him/her to your boys. Children tend to remember what they see and experience so I would opt for the *softer* look rather than the just born look ;) But thats my personal opion.. you know your children best with what they can deal with.

Mommy-jess, I love Noah! It can go boy or girl ;)

Rakker, nice bump!! And cute face he pulled.. boys dont like taking photies.. hehe

Driekie, yipee and congrats on team blue!!! Seems like there are a loooot of same gender siblings coming.. My gynae also said one of the most important things during pregnancy is to take a lot of fluids!!!

Wow that was a mouthfull!!

I had a very succesfull day :) I baked a new recipe cupcakes, iced them and did a photo shoot! Im so proud of myself.. shooo but doing the photos is actually quite hard work! Joli, I def take my hat off to you.. I never realised how tiring it is to keep being focussed and creative. Ill post them for you later so you can give me your honest professional opinion. Ok so they came out really nice but the new recipe is sooo horrible!! gross.. they were all dry and crumbly.. so Ill try a new recipe in a few days time.

Meags - Mwah, mwah, mwah!! My GP was all for letting me stick it out but then she spoke to my gynae and he said the fever risk was too high. The fever peaks at night with tick bite and I was already at 38 at 2pm!! So they were concerned that I don't have it mildly!! And that my temps would sky rocket as they did last night. I was drenched!! But the best thing you wrote was ...." .... clarithromycin... useful for treating pregnant women"
Klacid is clarithromycin!
I am going to read that article now.
I just took my first dose and felt like I was poisoning my LO!! Dramatic I know, sorry but I feel loads better after reading your post. THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!!
