Eventually! Meags I still didn't tell my boss and I came straight from work so I'm really wearing baggy shirt to work. I don't think I'm that huge, but I'm about the same size than what I was with Kayla at around 8 months. I carried much smaller with her. With Megan I got big all over. Hope I don't get stretch marks at this rate. Here I am with Megan at 30 weeks.

ah it's not showing :(
Joli when I saw you at Genesis, you definitely dont look like you are near to delivery or even 7 months! In the top you were wearing, it wasnt even obvious you were pregnant so just ignore those nosey on-lookers :p

Hello All! Thought I'll come say HI to all my preggy friends before I get busy again. Sjoe had a hectic 2 days, running around like mad. Megan went with SIL to the Lion Park today, so I only had Kayla today. Went shopping and took her to Wimpy, then to my sister who was in a car accident yesterday (she's fine, just hurt her back and neck), went to fetch my post etc. etc. Hubby bought oxtail for me, but now it needs to cook for over 3 hours and I'm dead tired, so it won't happen today - will cook it tomorrow - can't wait. Tomorrow I'm doing a newborn shoot. I need to come post a pic of my tummy. Someone ask me in the week - so when do you pop?? And yesterday at the shops someone asked me whether I am 7 monhts pregnant  ??!! Then just wanted to say I HATE it when someone says - so when do you pop! Hubby said popped once when I was pregnant with Megan and never dared to say it after that! Anyways. OK so DH also bought something for baby today - Tommy Tippee bottles, a sterilizer and brush and ordered window sox for the car :) . I still didn't buy anything.

Kimika - just go browse the shops and read the books in the shop for names ;) . I've got a book here, but it's also more English. My sister had an Afrikaans name books - must see if I can find it for you.

Fahaway - hope things get better and you can get the pains sorted.

EmsMom - Glad you keeping her with ballet, but I wouldn't have pd for the time she's not teaching. Megan is with little cook's club and the lady is going on leave in November and we are not paying for the full time. Kayla's ballet is also costing me so much more now. We need to hire costumes, the concert was gonna be free, now we need to pay and we need to pay extra now for extra lessons every Friday as well. And now K has told me from next year she rather wants to concentrate on her swimming and do gymnastics instaed of ballet, but she needs new ballet shoes for the concert.........

We are eating Nandos tonight - I asked hubby to get my HOT chicken he he.

My blood pressure also went low with Megan as well as my iron. So far all is OK with this pregnancy. Well I can feel baby all the time, but I've had 3 really hard kicks so far - all at the same place - right of my tummy. I can't believe such a small baby can kick so hard!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Hi girls.
I had no scan. Next scan is on 21 november but isn't booked yet. Ill be 22 weeks then.
I hardly ever carry my son.. He must walk or is pushed in his pram. I do pick him up now and then for a cuddle and a kiss. Today i didn't push the pram, but stood for close on four hours because i was selling some second hand books. And im in pain again. So i can't blame my son. I wear running shoes and they are flat. Yesterday i also didn't really push him or stand for long but my back was killing me by 2pm. I think ill give the arnica a try and see what its like tom, or ill try get to a chiropractor..never been to one cos it freaks me out when everything goes click. Lol.
Tazzy i also have low blood pressure and was told to drink lots of water and eat salt. My blood pressure sits around 90/60 and im dizzy a lot of the time, but was told its normal blood pressure for a pregnant lady. Except when i go to the hospitals then its 120/80.. Go figure. Lol.
Im not going to stress about this hospital story til next month, its just not worth it any more. :cheer:

hi ladies!!!

how is everyone's weekend going? I went to the Living and Loving Nestle seminar thingy today. Got a gift bag again :) Has a couple of nice fancy feeding bowls which I'm sure are quite expensive, a fancy bottle and then samples and cereals.

Tonight we are going to Montecasino to eat at RAJ and I'm sure we'll gamble too. Just love Roulette :)

Tazzy, it is normal to have a low BP during pregnancy due to the increased blood volume and the amount of space the blood now needs to flow through. Mine is always 100/60. Keep an eye on it though. You dont want it dropping to 80/something. That's quite low...increase the salt and dont stand up too quickly.

Lucy - Minky (kitty) is doing amazing. I took the cone off yesterday as she just looked SO depressed and was driving me mad walking into everything. So far so good. She hasnt tried to do anything to the wound. Half way through the antibiotics too. But she is now happy and playing. I did see however, that my other kitty has pierced her skin in 4 places (he must have clawed her) exactly where they have shaved her!! So I am suspecting he is the culprit for all of this....

Faw - it is never a bad thing to see a chiropractor during pregnancy. in fact - they realign your pelvis too, to make a natural birth more likely. I am seeing one next Tuesday for my pinched sciatic nerve, to realign my pelvis and I have a previously broken coccyx that is playing up so she'll try sort that out too.
Not long now until my scan and finding out baby's gender!!! I am contemplating not doing the caffeine intake before the scan as if baby is too active, it's also difficult to see. so I think I'll just eat a sweet so that baby is awake, but not hyper!
