So its official

Maryke is as great as you all described her! So we had an amazing scan, very clear and you could see all the little details. I ofcourse had a strong & sweet cuppa before we left so baby was wide awake and kicking and playing. She immediately saw the little willy and we then saw it over and over again. She is 100% sure its a boy! Ok so I was kinda expecting it, but getting confirmation is totally different. And I felt sad that I was a bit dissapointed and teary eyed, because I actually should just be happy that little guys is growing so well and is healthy. But I think its prob a bit normal to feel the way I do.. and Ill get used to the thought very quickly. Financially its the best thing to happen since I really dont have to go and buy a ton of new stuff and can just focus on getting the boys room ready and looking cute. And it also helps that my son is so cute so I know the next one will be too!

But we just have NOOOOOO idea on a name, so I need lotsa suggestions!!

And Genesis is amazing!!!! Hubby likes it too but he is a little worried about the drive there and also he likes to know that there is everything available in an emergency (like a full neonatal etc). So Ill prob just stick to my current gynae and hospital. But to any lady even considering going there: DO IT!!

Meags - wanted to say that I'm only seeing the midwife next week Saturday. No scan. Will only have a scan on 6 Oct when I see Dr. Mia. I hope he is nice.

I had this dream last night. We were a whole lot of people in a room and there was a lady sitting on a chair who was in labour. No one was really near here, just with her in the room. She then moaned softly and said that the baby is coming and still no one did anything so I stood up and moved over to her and pushed her back a bit so she could be more at the edge of the chair - and then the baby came - I caught him but kept thinking I'm gonna drop him - he was slippery and big and I put him on top of the mom thinking for myself, take him, take him before I slip out my hands! Then while she was holding him I look to see whether it was a boy or girl and it was boy. Then I woke up! Was so disappointed to realized that it was only a dream!

Morning Girls.

Well I'm up at 6. I went to bed before 8 last night. I had terrible cramps again last night or more like pressure very low down - don't really know how to describe it. Struggled to walk, but I'm better today. Just wish I can feel actual kicks now so I know baby is doing OK. DH and the girls are still fast asleep. DH is sleeping with Megan in her single bed. She must have woken up during the night. Shame man.

Lucy - a baby sling is like a baby carry thingie. You use it to carry the baby in so your arms are free . Re your wee - I actually noticed that yesterday - my wee was also like bright yellow and then I rushed off to the kitchen and drank 2 huge glasses of water. It's not like that all the time.

Shame Kimika I hope you don't get sick. I've also thought I'm coming down with flu, but then I'm OK a couple of hours later. Would have liked to be at home LOL. It's spelled throat I think. I think Jessica is going to Maryka on Monday for a scan to see the gender. Maybe you can add that.

Rakker - how was the concert?? Must have been really sweet.

Driekie - you wore braces for 7 years?? Sjoe I hope my girls won't need to wear it that long. Did you medical aid pay for it?

Karen - if you don't mind - what codes did you fill in on the PMB form - do you need to fill in ALL the codes you want them to cover or just the code for monitoring of pregnancy??

OK, so now I'm waiting for news from Kimika! Kimika you need to come post ASAP!! Can't wait to hear whether it's pink or blue.

Ladies I wanted to ask a slightly tmi question? Does anyone else have seriously yellow wee? I mean luminous yellow! I am not sure if I am not drinking enough (but I am drinking more than double normal and it isn't that brown yellow) or maybe I have a UTI or could it be the copious amounts of dried mango I am eating or is this a normal pregnancy thing?
