Girls, I think Im getting flu or something.. I woke up last night with burning nose and throught (is that spelt right??) And it kept going the whole day I soooo dont want to be sick now. My legs are also hurting.. I wonder if thats preggie related.. I wanted to ask gynae but had so many things to ask that I forgot that part.

EmsMom, shame about the bug. I had it at 8 weeks. the vomitting and diarrhoea. Feel a little silly now that I didnt even worry if the baby was ok
glad yours is fine though and extra happy for you that you got another scan in!!! you can never get tired of them can you?

well I am going to go for a scan on 29 September at work. my mom's friends daughter is dying to come see a scan. dont mean to be funny, but the ones at the gynae that are long and detailed I'd rather reserve for family, so she can just come for a quick one at work!

thanks for the birthday wishes. DH still hasnt got me a gift!!! shame I told him to just get a spa voucher (i LOVE massages). he says he wants to get something original and will spend tomorrow afternoon searching while we have the babyshower here. haha. poor him. I feel sorry for him as he generally buys me jewellery or clothing but clothing wont work now I'm pregnant and I dont need any other jewellery. poor man!

otherwise we have my friends baby shower at my house tomorrow afternoon. I'm quite excited!!! we wont be dressing her up or anything. But will be nice to spend the day with friends and give her her gifts. I actually cant believe the cost of being a host!!! I spent R400 just on decorations (baby shower banners, balloons, paper plates, serviettes, confetti etc), about R200 on snack foods and about the same on cool drinks and cups. plus then her gift on top of that. must admit though, I just love parties and especially anything to do with babies!!

kimika, please come post IMMEDIATELY after your scan. I am going to come online just to check!
And Joli, please also let us know how your midwife appointment goes. let us know what she does, etc etc. are you also having a scan??

I got my baby sling delivered yesterday and it's the wrong one!!! So upset. but the lady says she'll post the correct one immediately. sigh...

Hey ladies

Sorry for just selfish posts today. Went to peek-a-baby and baby is 150% - mesured at 10w3d - so growth has been good! Moving like mad, little arms and legs and head banging was too cute! Def worth going. we got a 30min video on dvd and another cd filled with photos.
