Hayley sorry about negative bloods but it definitely could be too early still. Hope you have been doing lots of BD!!!!

I am counting down my days left at the triplets....3 after today!! yay!

Also so excited. Have 2 moomie moms who want me as their doula They are due in November.

So it seems DH is not going to Miami in September. Probably October. So thinking of doing a 4d scan end of September to see if we can see the sex. I will be 14 weeks and some days as he will miss the 16 week scan.

I think I have mild morning sickness. Not to stop me from eating. Whether I eat or not I feel queasy.
Really suffered last night with bloatedness. I was so uncomfortable all night.

Working in labour ward tomorrow so hoping to get a scan in if possible!

Argh Hayley. That's a pity, but I'm sure it won't be long now for a positive for you. Holding thumbs for you.

Kimika, you and Tracy as well as Claire all suspect i ovulated on CD 40 and to be honest i think that is the case... So im only 7DPO today and blood tests came back negative last night as my HCG count was below 4.. So im still in the game... Now, let's hope my temps behave..

Morning girls. I really don't want to complain, but last night I just felt terrible. My eyes were burning, I was so nauseous and tired and just felt terrible. I made pasta with pesto sauce and then went to bed at 8. Feeling better this morning, but I'm really struggling with afternoons and eves.

H-buzz - your shoot should take between 2 - 3 hours, depending on the kiddies .

Cathm - Maryka is just awesome. Also had my scan there at 9 weeks and going back on 28 Aug for my 12 week scan. Also on a Saturday. Seeing my midwife on a Saturday as well also at Genesis. I'm also keen on a homebirth, but hubby is not and I'm not sure whether it's worth hiring a birth pool and all that whereas when you go to Genesis everything is there. You pay in R800 for a night and you get all the stuff you need. Maryka also does the special scans at 12 weeks and 20 weeks checking for DS and all that. I'm still looking for a gynae - will speak to the midwife re her opinion when I see her. I think Dr. Mia is just too expensive and he is also not listed as a preferred dr. at Discovery. With regards to your dates - go according to your scan. Your scan is the most accurate up to 12 weeks. Your baby's size only start changing after 12 weeks. I know when I fell pregnant with all my kids and my scans were spot on up till 12 weeks. The dates changed after the 12 week scans.

Meemo - hope you are feeling better today. Sorry to hear about the doggie.

Jessica - I was also VERY happy when we only saw 1 baby!

Lucy - you must be careful girl. Keep your laptop and stuff in your boot rather. Ya I'm sure the photography will work out just well after this baby's arrival. Can't wait. Thx for the well wishes.

Kimika - if I lay flat on my back and push down I can feel my uterus but I didn't feel the baby as yet. I can't wait for movement. How are you today? Have you guys got an idea when you will be back in JHB?

Kimika & Meags - at least you guys' bank balances are still int he positive - mine is faaaaaaaaaaaar in the negative! Honestly I've learned not to stress about money. I know it's not easy, but worrying is not going to change anything. Hubby and I spoke last night and right now we are not buying ANYTHING we don't need. I'm also cutting down on the grocery list etc. so we can pay off as much debt as possible.

Can't wait to hear whether Hayley will join us or not. Hayley just wanted to tell you that Megan's name was going to be Hayley until I searched the meaning and found out it meant something like 'in the haybale' he he

Meags - After baba arrives you must let me know what that cup is like! I have been toying with the idea of getting one for a while now. I would also go and settle down in US first. Get involved with antenatal classes to meet other Mum's and start making friends that way. We are also only a click away

EmsMom - LOL on the NCIS. You have no idea how many times i had to read your post to understand. My brain is not firing on all cylinders!

Cath - I have also heard that you should stick with your LMP as baba has growth spurts at different stages and so measured edd keeps changing ..... at least until nearly due!

AFM - I forgot to lock my car today in a rather dodgy and busy part of durbs with my laptop open on the passenger seat, plus bank cards etc etc. How daft can you get?!!! Luckily no one noticed! Eish!

Ah well Meags, all I can say is join the broke club!! We have like R1800 left and that is prob going towards scan on Friday and then from there NOTHING! And debit order for medical aid is going off on Monday.. *sigh*

Emsmom, thanks for asking.. Im not feeling much beter today, I just cant stop crying Its like I have no more control over my emotions.. hubby left early today and only returned now.. I think he just had to get some alone time Ah and thanks for making me want olives now!

Hayley, look your chart is an absolute mistery to all of us!! But here is my two options.. Most likely your body took all this time to recover and ovulate on its own and that means you just ovulated now on CD40. But then I cant explain all the other positive OPKs.
Then other option is that you ovulated earlier on in your cycle.. maybe one of those spikes and FF just wasnt able to pin O due to varying temps. That would mean your preggie now.. maybe then you Od on CD27 and that dip was implantation and the daily rise in temp is rising progesterone levels. That would explain the positive OPKs your getting. And then the HPT you did the other day was just too early or levels were still too low. Some girls really battle to get positive results from either HPT or bloods. But all this is just speculation and only time will tell!!! Waiting is a killer!!! FIngers and all toes crossed for those results tomoz Have a look at my preggie chart.. see where the implantation dip is and after that the steady temp rise? www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2d7cf7 Oh and as for the cervix, mine has been low all the way and now few days ago it suddenly moved waaayyy up, cant even reach it.. but googled it and they say everyone is different and mostly it moves up sometime in early pregnancy.

Cath, ah pls come tell all on Genesis, I still want to visit them. We are doing the nuchal scan on Friday, my gynae did the course so can do all the measurements and things herself. She only charges normal consult for the scan but Im guessing I need to pay the downs bloods extra? Any idea how much it was?? I think stick to your LMP date, it just makes things much easier for now. Later on it will be more accurate.

Meemo, sorry bout your dog Its just so sad when we lose pets. My two staffies are my life and I really dont know how I would cope if something were to happen to them *hugs*

AFM: Ah Im sure as in SURE I felt the baby move tonight.. I was in bath and kinda tilted my pelvis and pressed down hard with my hand just above pubic bone and then suddenly it just went glloop gloop underneath my hand. I remember the feeling.. its not like a kick or a jerk, more just a flowing movement of the baby! Maybe its my little babie just telling me he/she is doing ok and that everything will be ok!
