Morning ladies

How are you all doing today?

I actually never did the weekly belly shots with Em, and not going to now (tummy is flabby anyways) I'll do my maternity shoot again this time, and kinda leave it at that. :) Wanted to do it with Em but just never got round to it.

Fawaway I was born at Mowbray Maternity, they are apparently still very good.

Joli thats not cool about your friend and DH's stepsister, selfish and unkind!

AFM, still no symptoms, hope it stays this way :) I'm feeling a bit more tired come the afternoon, but otherwise all dandy.

I'm finally convinced DH to let us to cloth nappies for this one, so I'm happy there. Now we are buying a washing machine today, I normally send my washing out to be done, but they've bumped up their prices and what was R100 a week is now R250 a week. So much better for us to get a washing machine.

hope all you other ladies are doing well.

Justed wanted to add some more :-).

Lucy - those underwear thingies are with the underwear - you will find them at Edgars and Woollies. I bought 2 before I found out I was pregnant.

Meags - that's great. I also took pics with Kayla right through my pregnancy. I've got a pic at 8 weeks and you can't see nothing - flat as a pancake wearing a short and a short top! Jeez I don't look like that anymore!

Fawaway - yip meant which government hospital you going to. Hope it's not to bad. Can you not leave your son somewhere when you go? Might make things a bit easier. Good idea to take something with to eat and drink and keep you busy.

LOL Meags ya I also thought it's strange - feeling nauseous but still want to eat! The other morning I sent Kayla to quickly fetch me an apple when I woke up as I was nauseous! What is Clementines? Are they nearly the same than nectarines?? Will go look.

Oh what I actually wanted to say. Some people just piss me off. (deleted for in case someone see it) And one of my best friends from school had her baby in January - last baby - nr. 3. I also did her shoots for free and gave her all Megan's pink Nuk bottles and ALL my baby stuff and bags and bags full of clothes and blankets etc. as we weren't planning on having another baby soon so I asked her if she could give me her maternity clothes and she said she can't find any in her cupboard. I know she's lying cause she had lots of clothes. Argh anyways not going to get upset about it, but just wanted to tell you guys how some people are.

Night, night, sleep tight!

Hi girls. Kimika i am so sorry to hear what you are going through. I understand your situation very well and you are in my thoughts. Someone i think it was joli which government system i am in. I meant that i am going to a government hospital to give birth and all my appointments will be there. Im going to go to mowbray maternity and wait in que's. My first wait is on tuesday. Gotta be there by 7am and wait. I am taking a picnic with and lots to keep my son entertained. I have applied for several jobs and now im waiting... All i ever do is wait. My husband has run out of money but still has food. I eventually called him today to find out if he is ok as i haven't heard from him since thursday. Other than that im going to eat dinner and get my son to sleep and then try my hand at making carrot cake. Yum yum. Ok and kimika when i told my mom the first time i was pregnant she said f@ck and the second time she said something just as bad. So don't feel bad. My mom and dad are wonderful wi th my son though. ;)

Hi ladies

Kimika sorry about the job situation...but dont give up on the baking - you have many clients just on this thread!!!!

Meemo did you tell SIL? And yes, the writing does look smaller now that they have upgraded the site.

EmsMom, that is so nice how supportive your family is :)

I have started taking belly photos (8 weeks now) and will do 1 every 4 weeks. for now I am still bloated so wont post any yet!!

I think I had morning sickness all day today. I felt AWFUL. But the weird thing is, I feel so nauseas, but I still want to eat? Does that make sense??

Where are the other ladies?????

Tazzy what time is your scan????? You must be so excited!!!

Joli do you specifically need nectarines? Woolies has the clementines and they are divine. We go through a box every few days!!

Cant believe some of you are nearing the 12 week mark already. How lucky are you!!

Hi All. Been so busy this weekend. I'm ready to just fall over!

((hugs)) Kimika - it can't be easy and I'm thinking of you. We are not in exactly the same position, but I've been there. I know the feeling. When we had Megan we lived in my sister's granny flat in Rosettenville (bad part of JHB). Maybe you guys should look at moving in with your parents until things has settled. Can you perhaps try and do temp work? They might employ you if it's only for temp. If you are back in JHB we can all buy some baked goodies from you as well. Hope hubby finds a job as well. Things will work out eventually. Keep faith my friends. I'm still so nervous about this baby's arrival as well as we can't afford another child either. Whenever I look at my girls, I keep thinking how unfair it is towards them for having this baby. But then I keep telling myself that things will work out - it just have to! We must just keep believing and look at the bright side. I'm not spending any money right now, just going to pay off debt. With regards to your mom & dad's attitude, that's just sad, but at least they are still around and love their grand children. Just ignore the nasty comments. I've decided I'm not even going to tell my mom.

Welcome MistyMom! :-)

To those ladies who had miscarriages before and stressing - thinking of you and trust that all will go well.

EmsMom - your family sounds really nice, especially your dad. Your are really lucky to have such a great dad and grandpa for your kids.

I still didn't tell my boss re my pregnancy. Not sure how they are going to take the news. Was thinking of keeping quiet for as long as possible. Only problem is that my stomach just popped out this weekend. Even hubby was like jeeez - what happened??:-) LOL

I'm not so nauseous anymore - very happy about that.

Tazzy - enjoy your scan - you should see a nicely formed babba by now :-). Pls come post some pics.

I've got the sweetest MIL - she's like the mother I never had, so I really can't complain.

Still craving nectarines and can't find any!! When is nectarine season? I think when I find some, I will eat like 10 just to stop this craving!

Well ladies enjoy your eve and will chat tomorrow again. Got lots of shoots to edit this coming week. Oh ya - Kimika - thx for the comment on my shoot re couple at home - I will definately do more on locations shoots once I do photography full time, but it's a bit of mission right now. I still take my lights with when doing the shoots at people's homes so you can imagine the set up. But for you - I won't mind off course. We will chat closer to the time and see what we can arrange. Maybe I can do your shoot and you can bake me some goodies :-).

Kimika, I'm really so sorry to hear about the troubles you are going through at the moment.

It can't be easy and the stress is not good. I wish there was something that I could do to help you, and if you lived in CT I'm sure I would be able to somehow.

Sadly we don't take male donors, but you can contact this company www.cryobank.co.za/index.html and they take sperm donors.

Remember you can unload and rant to us all you want, we wont judge, just support.
