I am not currently on medical aid, and would like to know if anyone can tell me what the cost for delivery @ a private hospital is. Preferably in nothern surburbs, cape town.

Forgot to mention that Dr Newham not only practices from Kingsbury, but also sees patients on a Wed afternoon @ Groote Schuur (not too sure where) Doctor mentioned it to me on my first appt... he said he saw his patients who found it too pricey @ Kingsbury @ Groote Schuur - tests and procedures were much cheaper there.

So if you would like to see Dr Newham, you can @ both hospitals...

Just call in to find out about rates @ the Groote Schuur facility

Doc also mentioned that he is a specialist OB and deals with lots of infertility issues. My GP also recommended him as "a very good doctor"

He really is a nice doc - very good at what he does. He has a good bedside manner, and didn't make me feel uncomfy in the least! I would seriously recommend him for anyone planning a pregnancy and looking for a gynae in the area
