Gynae/Obgyn Questionnaire

I am battling to find a Gynea that isnt too expensive I am in Durban all affordable dr's are booked solid and will not take on anymore patients, I am now left with the choice of two Dr's charging R800 a scan vistits R390 but has to be more than 10, scans are R700

my medical aid will only cover R4000 of the birth if there is such a shortage of Dr's why arent more made available? I am a single parent left with all these bills to pay :`( I have not managed to sit back once and enjoy my pregnancy I have been so stressed out all the time.

this forrum was brilliant btw it showed me just how over priced my options of GYneas are.

has anyone used Dr Payne at Westville or DR Martin also at Westville? if so please can I have some info on them..

Cost of consultation and delivery: R960 first consultation, R260/490 thereafter (she charges for 2scans only, others r free). c-sec delivery about R8000.

Appointments on time: No, better call to find out how late she's running.
