I am pretty excited myself... i tried to time our BD very close to ovulation (some drs say this improves your chances for a boy) i really wanted a pigeon pair... this is going to sound silly but i was a tiny bit sad that i wont be buying more pink stuff... there is almost nothing of Mikayla's stuff i can use for this little fellow cause its all frills and pink!

On the babyshower, well I have mentioned to my relative and my husband that I really do not want anything spectacular, a little informal gathering at a coffee shop will do for me.. My best friend and sister in law really went all our with my daughter and I feel so bad having them go through all that yet again.. I know I know, some people tell me I should just relax and go with the flow but cannot help feeling this way....

I am delivering at Garden City my gynae only delivers there, had my son at Parklane but equally happy with both hospitals...

I designed SUCH a nice invite for my friend.

I am just organising the venue and what food I want. The rest is up to my sister in law to sort. I'm giving her the list of people to invite. I trust her to show us a good time. Since I'm paying for it (she's a student) I need to make sure all that stuff is catered for.

I better ask my doc about the hospital bed although I'm sure he will let me know.

Please organise properly Champers and make sure the invites are nice. Not blurry like the one I just received.

Private room sounds nice. With our hospital it's a first come first served basis.

Haha! Ja GML, you must take care when choosing a hospital. You hear horror stories about some places. Lucky for me, the only private hospital (next door to the gyne) is fantastic. Hubby wants to book me my own room. I think I'll wait for a while before booking a room.

I'm busy organising the baby shower now too. Found a nice venue that caters for all my friends little kiddies too.

I'm getting so many invites for baby showers these days and most of the invites lack creativity. I'm just hoping whoever plans my baby shower is at least creative with the invite.

I wish I could email a friend of mine and just tell her what I want and not. I am so pedantic it's not funny. My wedding was planned by me and everyone knew exactly what I wanted and I did everything myself. How am I going to allow them to plan my baby shower? Even though they planned the best Bridal shower ever

I hope it's just as good.
