mommies to be DECEMBER 2010

Thank God for Epidurals. The things they are doing to me. I'm just happy that i cant feel them.

I'm now 7cm. Waters still in tact. Luckily the sister looking after me said she will wait to see if they break naturally and until baby is engaged. She says she doesnt want me to end up in theatre.

The epidural is sooo nice, i can move my feet but cannot feel my bums.

Grabbing something to eat now, havent had food since yesterday 7pm. I managed through contractions until 7cm. So proud of myself....

Got admitted at 5h30 and they told me that im 5cm dialated. Couldnt believe it.

If all goes well i'll be a mommy this morning still

Ladies

Did i mention that baby is sooo active it's not funny. After every cramp it feels as if he stretches me to a point of no return. I feel as if my ribs are being pushed upwards. In fact, he has been extremelyy busy the whole day.

I think i've gotten used to the pain, it seems manageable now. Guess what? Hubby is sleeping through all these pains

Aaah ladies

The back pain! It's a dull pain that feels as if it moves from my back to the front. And it's all around the lower abdomen. It comes and goes but for some reason, with every pain i find myself on the toilet seat-only to drop 1small stool.

Very strange. If this is it, i regret not being patient. What do you ladies think?

I cant even sleep because it feels as if i'm anticipating the next pain. It's not easy sleeping through such pains

GML, hope your turn comes soon and at least one of us has a natural birth. I know all about the incessant calls asking if baby has arrived yet, i had them too.

We're finally home, begged gynae to discharge us. Much comfier at home but baby is generally very restless and cries whenever she is not asleep or on the breast. And she is loud!!!
