Mubarak on your babies Suhaila and Googlebug. Is Hamid Raza the full name. I know of another name wchich is close to Hamid which is also nice (Humaid) - not sure of the meaning.

When is the name giving?

Breastfeeding takes time to get use to - my daughter just didn't like the idea and after 6 weeks she just didnt want it anymore.

My lg was born the 12 June 2010 and will be 6 months on Sunday inshallah.

Google mubaruk on your daughter! Our birth experiences were very similar. I must say day 4 has been the best day so far baby and I are getting to know each other. We are liking Hamid Raza and Mohammed Aqeel as possible names

hi gml ... I wore my own clothes and my labour was semi-natural if you dont count the induction. I didnt have an epi only a injection for pain. Very chuffed cause i didnt get any stitches (no tears) with mik i also vomited with each contaction but they gave me an injection to stop the vomiting that worked like magic.

I'm doing night feeds on my own. Hubby wakes up, brings me a drink and goes back to sleep. Routine is pretty flexible at this stage. I just try to bath baby W by 5ish so that i still have enough time to bath mik before dinner. He wakes up around 11ish and 4ish at night so its really not to bad. Some times he wants an extra feed at 1.

I hope i'm not boring all of you to death but playing on fb and moomie keeps me entertained while bf! xxx

Oh google- sounds like you also had a rough time. I was hoping that at least one of us ladies would go natural all the way. I hope i go natural.

As long as she is healthy then it's ok googLe. She can always pick up the weight afterwards.

I had a terrible night. Just when i thought things were looking up for me. No, i was not in labour, but i was extremely restless. Hubby says i was shaking at some point. All i know is that i didnt sleep well. Still no sign of labour in sight.

People dont understand the concept of ''you'll receive an sms when baby is born''. The calls just dont stop. My mom calls in the morning and at night. I keep telling her that she'll be tthe first to know when i go into labour.

Enough about me.

Do share ladies how are the night shifts? Do you ladies have any routines yet?

Oh, were you ladies wearing your own clothes whilst in hospital or were you in scrubs because of c-sections?

I'm annoyed to see that the super long thread i posted yesterday has vanished, thought i told my whole birth story here already!

A super long and painful labour, which involved vomiting with every contraction ended in induction and finally an emergency caesar on tuesday afternoon. I also ended up eventually having an epi that never caught and then a spinal so a day and a half later i am still drugged.

Baby googlebug is beautiful. But i sent her to the nursery last night coz i was just too tired to handle her, i've been falling aslp during breastfeeding! She's much tinier than anticipated but what a set of lungs!

Hope to get discharged soon, sick of hospital...
