Hello mommies,

Ty cries a lot. If he's awake, he's generally crying. I can't seem to get him to sleep in his own bed. He will only sleep on my chest. I've taken him to a chiro for 2 sessions so far.

Nipples are slowly starting to get a little better. At least they aren't bleeding anymore.

He sleeps about an hour and then wants a feed. I was feeding him every 4 hours but a feed is the only thing which will stop him crying so now he is drinking probably every hour.

Tired.

Lesego is still in ICU.
I had a leak in my spine which caused those bad headaches and stiff neck. I got a lot of injections in my spine to stop the leak and i must say i feel much better.

I'm trying to express milk for lesego, but the amount i've managed to express so far seems small considering how much he sucks. I'm embarrassed to take it to hospital, i doubt he will become full on what i expressed! My boods get full and fast, but when i express only a small amount comes out.

How many ml's are you ladies pumping per feed or a day?

Yes well thx to all for keeping my friend in your prayers, she still in coma but they moved her to HC...

Breastfeeding and really enjoying it, he does stool alot Miks, but I'm use to it it was black, to greenish and now yellow so I'm happy it's working all bad stuff outa system....

My night shifts are a breeze (except for all the pain I still have) but it all in a day's work yesterday and the day before I thought I was gonna die, pain was to exstream....but today I can move a little still very painfull though....

Has anyone else here gone for a sterilization? Or just me??? oh man it's pain I never even thought it this hectic, so for those who are thinking about it rather let hubby fix himself before you do it....its crazy and yesterday and today I felt really blue...I wanna play with the kids etc I wanted to bath Morey but it's impossible for me to stand so long, my legs are very weak and my overies in so much pain it;s almost unbearible....


Anyway Morey's routine is 4 hourly first feeding at 4 in the morning, then at 8 then 12 then 16h00 then 20h00 midnight and walla he's happy ooops talking bout feeding time there goes my boobs and Morey's cry at the same time gotta run

Im home but Lesego is in NICU with very high jaundice.

About the poop. It's normal for breastfed babies to poop a lot. The lady in the bed next to mine was telling me that her son only pooped once whilst i kept having to change his diaper. She was bottlefeeding him.

My tummy is shrinking with every feed plus i have a lot of wind lol.
Frustrated that my boy is being bottlefed plus they're giving plenty of water to help with jaundice. Hope he wont prefer the bottle over my boobs.

Ps. Miksmummy, is wian still passing as much stool? I've also noticed that baby passes more when breastfed than with formula (been using both). So you probably shouldn't stress.

Wow, it feels like its the first time i'm fully conscious while posting on moomie since baby was born, maybe I will be more coherent this time than lately.

Suhaila and GML, sorry to hear you've had side effects from the dpi. Doesnt seem to have affected me, though i have now realised the hard way that i am allergic to voltaren... Gave me pimples all over my tongue and made me drool for days.

Had the four day blues big time yesterday, read about it before and thought it would never happen to me, but between sleep deprivation, guests streaming in and out all day yesterday, my caesar scar hurting in the rainy weather yesterday, a power failure and an upset baby with a runny tummy, i finally broke down in tears last night and just kept bawling. But i feel like my old self again today.

Suhaila, the name means 'sincere advisor'. And she will also have her hair shaved tomorrow. Would love to post pics, but hubby has told me in no uncertain terms that he does not want photos up on facebook etc so i'm sure the same applies to moomie. She seems to be getting cuter by the day, but sooo tiny, drowning in newborn clothes.

Sorry if i'm missing individuals, i struggle to post from my phone and my laptop is packed away since last week, dont want to take it out becuase then i know i will check work email and stress.

Barbs, how is the wait going? It must be so exciting not knowing if its a girl or a boy, wish we had the patience to wait. ))))))))
