Hi Ladies,

Am brand new to the site. Just discovered it this morning... Am 38 weeks on Thursday. Due date the 25th. SO not too long now. Just wondering if anyone else has been having on and off Braxton Hicks ... Or what I think are Braxton Hicks. Been feeling them for the last 3 days or so. Next app with my doc on Friday.

Also wondering how much everyone has packed in for baby? Clothing, nappies, etc etc.

Hi Ladies

Weight gain. I was 50 kgs before I fell pregnant.
I had gained a total of 8kgs by 30 weeks, then I lost 3kgs.

Now I'm 56kgs meaning I gained 6kgs in total.

Stumzaa- Which hospital are you giving birth at?

You ladies must be excited knowing exactly when your babies will be born. I hate the uncertainty.

My lower back is uncomfortable (not painful but dull like uncomfortability). It's getting difficult ladies. I hope he wont make me wait long for him.

i`ve gained 6kg since the beginning i was 64kg to 70kg at 34weeks,i`ve always had big boobs so you guys can imagine how big the are now,will post my belly pic soon

Sorry to hear you're sore GML.

Sorry to hear about your MS Google. Sheez! We were on par with that but thank goodness mine has subsided. In fact I don't think I've been sick since throwing up on hubby's feet that day I ended up in hospital. BTW, a was chatting to a nurse about that and she says that it was just my blood pressure and the change in altitude. I said to her that I didn't fly but she said it doesn't matter. Thinking about it, I starting feeling sick as we started going up the mountain pass. We had to pull over at the top, where I got sick everywhere. And I blacked out as we reached the bottom. THANK GOODNESS I decided not to fly to London with hubby in August like he wanted. I couldn't imagine 12 hours of feeling like that and then 12 hours home. They probably wouldn't have allowed me to fly home.

Beautiful day here, trying to get my washing done as its supposed to rain tomorrow.

I'm going to have a November baby too.... but I'm sticking with my friends on the Dec thread!! I'm sure we are going to be doing a lot of chatting during the "night shift"!

Champers @ very jealous at the D cup... I think i'm going to wait for my milk to come in and take a photo... LOL.. I can keep it for one day when I can afford a boob job to show the dr what size I'd like.... LMAO

I am seeing little baby W tomorrow... wooohooo... I have a ton of questions about this induction business... can't wait to get some answers from the dr!

I'm sure we will all be in contact after the babies are born- I think we will need one another's support then. Most of us are also connected on FB anyway. But yes, my friends also either have kids in the 2-3 age group or no kids, so they're not really in the same space (I did bump into a friend from university this weekend who is due at almost the same time as me, but the fact that we haven't even been in contact for the past eight months to know that says something about where that friendship has gone).

I started this pregancy at a 32B and now its at least a 36C (after I bought size 34C nursing bras last month, which sucks since I don't think you can exchange underwear).
Lol at Suhaila, I remember watching those breastfeeding dvd's and being stunned by how huge some of those boobs were!!!!

Fancyface, sorry if I missed something, why are you not supposed to move around anymore? I think I will find it very frustrating not being able to get around where and when I want- one of the reasons I think I would hate to have a caesar. Lol, hubby works down the road from me but we travel seperately because I get annoyed waiting for him in the mornings, I like getting to work early and then leaving early (also he tends to work late quite often and then I would be stuck waiting for him). Fancyface, i can understand you not wanting millions of people around at the beginning.

GML, sorry to hear your gums are acting up again... don't worry, almost there....

AFM, the morning sickness is back in full swing it seems, last night's ice-cream (supper substitute) did not stay down.... i had really hoped I was done with all this.
