I'll be 37 weeks on Thursday Champers, total weight gain has been 10kgs from 45kgs to 55kgs (its all on my belly, my sisters tease that I look like I have kwashiorkor, stick like arms and legs and a protruding belly). LO's estimated weight is 2.4-2.5kgs.

Champers, you will make it, I truly believ that we're designed to be able to handle as long as it takes and if you're not made to push it for another two weeks then nature has a way of speeding things up for us. Sorry, can't see the pics but the last ones I saw were stunning.

GML, has she let you know what name yet or will she keep you in suspense till the baby arrives?

Ladies, not to sound like a complete drama queen... I'm not sure I can go through 2 more weeks of feeling like this...

Hmmm, between Champers and GMl I don't know who to worry about possibly being in early labour.

Barbs, thats quite a story- at least it has a happy ending. If you want to buy a gift for your baby, I would rather get something sentimental that you can show/give the baby when older, at a few days they wouldn't know the difference. I hope your guests are helpful and considerate.

Suhaila, we don't have a name yet either- we have a shortlist of four or five and we will pick from those names when the baby arrives (the list still changes from week to week, but there have been a couple that have stuck for a while now).

Stumzaa, the dates can get confusing can't they. No exact birth date for us either, my gynae hasn't changed my EDD since my first appointment, but I guess the baby doesn't know that so it could happen any time....

I totally forgot about Christmas presents. WEll I thought about it but havent gotten around to it. It's going to be hard now that I wont have a salary for December and thereafter and my November salary is already going to be chopped
