OMW Barbs! POOR YOU!!!!! I'm glad that my situation has been sorted. Thank goodness Ty is coming in 2 weeks and not close to Christmas otherwise I'll be in the same boat.

We also had a rough time trying to fall preggers. We tried for 3 years. We had to see a fertility specialist and we fell pregnant via AI last year but in December I lost it at 9 weeks just before Christmas.

So the second round of AI worked and now we will have our little one for Christmas. I'm not going to buy him a present. I'm also not buying hubby a present from Ty either. I've bought Hubby 2 presents so far because I know I won't get a chance to get to the shops. Need to go on Thursday to find him something else.

Its something we all need to think about... buying xmas pressies early. No chance are you going to want to be ready to drop and stuck in between all the shopping madness!

We've told the whole family no more Christmas presents. Christmas is for the kids so only kids presents are needed.

Oh no Barbs, that's a lot of people to put up with when you just want to bond with your LO. Hopefully you will be blessed with considerate guests who are the helpful kind, not the "leave their dirty dishes in the sink kind." Ok so I am sure that I am getting Braxton Hick contractions. Last night and today I keep having pains. They don't last long but they feel like hunger pains or menstrual pains. Also get a quick stabbing pain in my lower abdomen.

Welcome to the newcomers!

All kinds of funny things starting to happen to us now, hey???? Guess this is the start of us realizing that our babies does not come with user manuals - it's a learn as you go process!!!!

Also feeling "weird" since yesterday. Cannot really lay my finger on it. can't decide if I should go and see my GP or wait for my gynae appointement of Friday.... Feeling achey and feeling like I'm nauseous and having hot flushes. What is going on with me?? On the other hand, my husband are also not feeling 100%, complaining of tummy ache - suspect my SIL's Sunday lunch.... Will wait until after my lunch hour and see how I feel then.

Champers - I also have issues with the in-laws... Only difference is that my mother in law LIVES with us on the same yard.... And my husband's brother and his family of 5 will be visiting ouma for Christmas. So I'm anticipating going into labour around Christmas and coming home to a house full of visitors... who are not going anywhere. Must say, I'm having sleepless nights about this issue. How on earth am I going to sort myself out with all these people around me!!!

On the up-side, I'm really excited about possibly spending Christmas with our baby - EDD 21 Dec. Yesterday realized that I can already buy a Christmas gift for him/her!!!!! What do you suggest would be an appropriate gift for a few days old baby?!!!!

and then I got all teary-eyed (as often happens nowadays) as I am so grateful for this baby... 3 years ago this time my husband asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I gave him a looooooong list of all kinds of stuff, and right at the bottom, I wrote I wanted a baby by next Christmas. Then followed our whole battle with fertility and Clomids and 2 very sad Christmasses with no baby in sight! And here I am - expecting my baby before Christmas!!!!!!! So in the end, I know everything will be fine even if I have to lock ourselves in to keep the visitors away!!!!

Going for our 34 week appointment on Friday and at last, our one and only Ante-natal class. Cant wait! Still need one or two things for the hospital bags as well as a set of drawers for the nursery. Going to be a big shopping day as well!!!!

All I know is, that even if I am VERY excited to meet my baby, I definately need the 6 more weeks.... NOT ready now!!!

Stumzaa- Dates can be so confusing. I had 3 EDD's but settled for the 1st scan date.

actually when i calculate using 1st day of my last period im due 2nd jan,but the scans edd is the 22nd dec so i going with the scan date lol
