@ Googlebug: misery loves company, I take solace from the fact that I'm not alone. You were brave with hot wings. Plain boiled pasta with cheese (not exciting I know) stays down too. My mums also close, 5 minutes away, I like the idea of being able to focus on baby without having to cook etc, but 40 days is too long, will miss DH

Am on maternity leave in the sense that I have my own practice so just working 2 days a week at the moment. Ameen to th Eid baby

Ladies

This morning I was lying on my bed naked with my knees up. Then hubby come close and examined me. He saw discharge coming down from my VJ and he said "is it suppose to come down like that. Shouldnt it be thick?"

It wasnt a thick blob of jelly like normal it wasnt even very watery but for it to drip down my privates.

should I be worried? I'm surprised I'm not worried because I have no pains whatsoever. Plus BOY has been busy.

Morning ladies, wow it is RAINING HARD here.

MIL is only coming a week after Ty's birth. Thank goodness.

I was getting a little worried last night. I was having pains in my stomach which felt like hunger pains. My lower back was in agony too. I had no relief from lying down so I tried walking around. A warm bath seemed to work. He is very high still. Right against my ribs. Still difficult to breath.

I'm sore now because I went into DH bar area and didn't allow for my belly so whacked it full pelt into the corner of the bar. So sore. I hit Ty on his head. Hope its ok.... Its a rounded corner but still a hard piece of wood.

Got my car back yesterday afternoon which is great. Tomorrow is pedi and eyelash tiny, tea and cakes with some friends and vet for my horse in the afternoon. Thursday afternoon is my 37 week scan.

The one mom who I was in my pregnancy class with had a c section yesterday. Baby was breech. She was 38 weeks.

I think its so awesome that you could decide that you wanted to spend the rest of your life together by date 3! It took my 7 years to make up my mind LOL

Gml @ when are you seeing the dr again? I wonder if your 'weird' feeling means that baba is going to surprise you and come a bit earlier?

Hi everyone...

Seems like everyone is at that uncomfortable point just waiting for something to happen. I don't think I'm ready for LO to come now, any time after I go off on maternity lave on the 26th is fine. A couple of people told me yesterday that my tummy is sitting lower, but to me it still feels like lo is lying horizontally (we'll find out for sure at my next appointment on Saturday- appointments are every two weeks now and then weekly in December if I make it that far).

Suhaila, sounds like we have a lot in common. Hubby and I also decided to get married by date 3 (although that was almost three years back) and my pregnancy has also been filled with lots and lots of morning sickness, all day for the first six months and now every evening again (although at least its just nausea and not vomiting now). My supper for the past three weeks has been either ice-cream or melon, everything else feels like its just sticking in my throat all night without digesting. Last night I decided to try some hotwings- bad idea!!!!

Suhaila, I don't think I'll go home for confinement (I might change my mind if I end up having a caesar). My mother is so close by that it doesn't matter much anyway. But if I do, it definitely won't be for the full 40 days, maybe about a week. Are you on leave already? Maybe you will end up having your eid baby afterall.

I'm sure you ladies are excited about spending Christmas with your babas with all your family around.

GML, you better hurry with that hospital bag!!!! The last thing you want is to be scrambling to find stuff when you're already in labour (especially with our muddled preggy brains we're bound to forget half the stuff). How did you find out about your surprise baby shower?

I still feel weird. The worst thing is knowing that something is not right or that something is different but not knowing what exactly. Thats how I feel and I hate it.

I had such bad pressure down below last night and my back was not sore but very uncomfortable. Like my back was stiff or something

I cannot wait to spend christmas with our baby. All I know is that Its going to be fun, in fact December is going to be fun. Cannot wait.

Being so uncomfortable is making me panic. I need to get my hospital bag ready now.
