My shower is on the 13th. Way too late if you ask me judging from the night I had last night.

People are commenting on how different my tummy looks today. Most say I have dropped. I guess last night had something to do with it.

Afternoon ladies,

I am so exhausted, feels like I have not slept in days!!!!... These last weeks really take a toll on one's body hey...

My shower is sometime over the next week or two, I told my mom I do want any surprise babyshower and a very informal one will be suitable. I know she working hand in hand with my best friend so we will see how it pans out as I am in the dark about the happening, so much for no surprises hey...

Miksmommy, I see my gynae next Wednesday, hope he can confirm an exact date then...I agree would be cool if our baby's were to be born on the same day..

Yesterday I got my auth number from the medical aid so that is sorted as well.....

Miksmummy, sounds like you had a lovely baby shower. I think people find it difficult to resist buying all the cute baby clothes out there (and yes, those wollies socks are just too cute). My sister did something similar to you for my baby shower, she got everyone to complete a card with words of advice for looking after the baby and childbirth and I had to guess who each card was from (some of the handwritings gave it away).

GML, sorry you had such a tough night (sounds similar to some of mine lately). i'm sure you wull have a baby shower soon...

Wian got heaps of clothes and the cutest woolies socks... nappies, bottles, baby products... He got a HUGE blue dinosaur... too cute for words! We were really spoilt rotten!! My friend who organised it really went out of her way to make it a special morning... she gave everyone little blessings cards to write a message/blessing for Wian which she made into a little book afterwards... It was a very special morning!

Morning Ladies

Such an eventful night I had last night. Boy was just too busy throughout the day and night. I woke up 5 times to pee and had difficulty turning last night. It was just too painful to turn. The sides of my tummy hurt so bad last night and this morning I woke up with sore and swollen feet.
Did I mention that my rings are stuck on my fingers?

Miks- What did you get at your shower? I'm way too jealous. Am I the only one that hasnt had her shower yet?

I bought some baby vests yesterday. The long sleeve ones that button at the bottom. I want to get pants for those vests as they don't have legs on them. Those clothes are too cute. I couldnt stop looking at them

I can't believe I have 4 weeks left!!! wooohoooooo I had my baby shower the weekend and little Baby W was spoilt rotten! This week I'm having some preggy belly photos done... any one else going to do that?

Sheesh Tanya... That must have been so scary!! When are you going to the dr again? I can't wait to hear when he is doing your c-section... it will be so cool if our kiddo's share a bday!

Champers, hope the tailbone feels better today.

Fancyface, sorry to hear about the diabetic thing. I've also had two bladder infections this pregnancy and I've never had one in my life before that, so I wonder if I don't have the same issue. I've been eating a ton of sugar this pregnancy- I often can't manage to eat anything but ice-cream in the evenings and I've had a piece of chocolate (or two or three or four) most days.

I've been lucky about not gaining much weight (not sure if its bad for the baby though)- on Saturday when I was weighted at the doctor I weighed 49kg. If you subtract 2.1kg for the baby and another 1 or 2kg for the placenta, amniotic fluid and all that stuff, I should be back to my regular weight once the baby is born.
