Champers- It's always good to have someone from hubby's family in your corner.

Tell me about the moods. I think they get worse when I'm at work :P

Suhaila- Welcome. Is this your first baby? 30 November is just around the corner. You expecting a boy? There are more boys on this thread than girls I think.

Morning,

Thanks GML... She doesn't smoke in the house anyways but I am going to ask that she brushes her teeth and washes her hands after smoking. Hubby spoke to his brother about it yesterday and his brother completely agrees with me. Thank goodness for that. I think my hubby might be coming round to seeing my point. I think he might get my sister in law to convince MIL to stay with my parents so they aren't here all the time. That I can deal with. Maybe I am being unfair and inconsiderate but at this point, I only care about my son and our family bonding without having the rest of the family giving their what's-its.

I know what you are talking about GML. I also feel different. I have been having crazy dreams and for the past 2 nights slept surprisingly well (only waking a few times). My moods have stepped up dramatically though as I'm sure you noticed. I am also extremely uncomfortable. Every move he makes feels like he's about to burst through my skin. Doc says I don't have a lot of amniotic fluid so maybe that influences it a bit.

I'm car-less today. Mechanic fetched it for its service and hubby has gone to CT for the week. Got a pedi booked for Wed and have asked for an eyelash tint too so I dont have to wear makeup in hospital ;-)

Morning Ladies

Hope you're all feeling well and babies are not too heavy.

I'm doing ok, except that I woke up feeling different this morning. I cant explain it. It's not a bad feeling, more like unusual.

Champers- I can imagine how you feel. You do need time to come home and settle before having people come over. There is nothing worse than having a guest stay at your house when you're not in the mood for it.

Surely the help will be highly appreciated but you will still be tired and emotional to deal with other people.

I suggest that you agree to having her there but you set up ground rules with MIL. Like, no Smoking in the house or kissing baby with cigarette smelling mouth. ((((Hugs)))) all the way to you hun.

Hubby is refusing to discuss it with his mother. I am on the verge of tears. Not fair. Now the whole experience of bringing baby home and having alone time is ruined. This is so unfair.

Ladies, I know when baby is born people are going to want to swoon and come see him but my mother in law is coming to spend the first weekend with us. Apart from that being annoying as it is, I have to deal with the fact that she is a smoker and ALWAYS STINKS. i really really really wish that she wouldnt come. I said she could stay at my parents house but my husband says that you cant do that. I DONT WANT HER HERE!!!!! Same problem over xmas. ARGH!!!!!!!!

I'm going to get DH to speak to her and ask her to come the following weekend. I only get out of hospital on Friday so I really dont think its fair for her to spend that weekend with us. I need time to settle.
