Hi ladies

Who is starting their Ante Natal classes this month? Champers?

I'm tired. I have this weird pain from my shoulder blade to under my armpits. Very funny. It's on both sides. but only feel it when I lift my arms.

Google- no flu please. It's the worst especially now that it's getting warmer...

Is it just me or have the weeks slowed down a bit? They went by so quickly before and now it feels like they are dragging.

There is a lot of flu going around. Really hope everyone stays healthy!

Funny you mentioned ice cream Google... I just went to the shops to buy ice lollies. I've made the mistake of buying more than one so now I can't think of anything else but the others in the freezer. Today maybe a pig out day!!!!

I am tending to wake up at 5am so before I go to sleep I have an apple or banana, just so I don't wake up feeling sick. But if I don't get sick in the morning, it gets me in the afternoon. I just have to be careful what I eat. Rich foods are a guarantee for me to be sick.

Anyhoo, going to take a catnap quickly. Very tired...

Have a nice afternoon everyone xxx

Good morning everyone

Woke up with a runny nose and sore throat- I really hope I'm not getting the flu.

GML,don't stress, still over three months to buy things, just make sure you at least have an idea of what you want to buy and where to find it in the meantime.

As for graduation, don't stress! I don't think anyone even notices what anyone wears to be honest, since its mostly covered by your graduation gown anyway. Just don't be one of those girls who wears a really short skirt since most of these graduation halls have stages that are raised higher than most of the audience. (I had my own graduation clothes drama- it was an hour before graduation, I was running late, still at work and the heel of my shoe snapped completely. I wouldn't have made it home in time to get other shoes. I only had R70 and had about ten minutes to find shoes in Sandton- Mr Price to the rescue!!!)

Champers, hows the nausea and heartburn? I found that ice or ice-cream works better for me for heartburn than Gaviscon etc (strange but effective).

Hi Ladies

Google- hope MS goes away.
I thought the same thing when I tried folding that thing. Such an effort. and with baby in one hand it wont be easy.

Miks- we cant seem to get ourselves to buy anything- I dont know why. I want to buy but then I end up thinking not now.

Ladies- I will be 32 weeks when I graduate. Can you believe it. I'm not sure I'm looking forward to it. Climbing up those stairs etc during graduation. What the hell will I wear then? Yoh

Good morning ladies

Hope you are all well. We had a quiet and fairly uneventful weekend, caught up on some much needed sleep.

GML and Champers, hope you feel better. I also still have morning sickness on and off (spent Friday night puking non-stop, a bit nauseous again today).

GML, the Graco Mirage looks good, it was one of the options we considered before settling on the Chelino Lorenza (they're fairly similar). I also opted against the ones with the bigger wheels, mostly because they take so much space folded up in the boot! And some of them have tyres that you have to pump up, way too much effort. I agree, most of them do seem heavy and difficult to fold (its okay now, but I can't imagine how I'm going to manage once theres a baby in one hand as well).

Hi ladies,

Hope the long weekend was great!

Our was rathere relaxed, did not do much. Saturday my husband worked the entire day so I was left with the kids, my son is fine my daughter is just getting too much for me, I cannot carry her for long then my back starts killing me and she can be so demanding so I really gave my husband a piece of my mind, needless to say he felt bad putting me under so much pressure for such a long time...

We still have not bought a thing for baba and I think my husband got a fright realising time is flying by, so we decided to get some stuff at the end of the month just to make a start..

GML, glad you liked what you saw at Brenthurst.

Champers poor thing cannot believe you still getting morning sickness..

Maryke I can understand why you feel the way you do, it's just not the same..

Miksmommy sorry to hear you had such a busy weekend with the cleaning and all, are you planning on finding a replacement?
