OMG, i hardly slept last night. I had the worst pains ever!!! I thought baby was coming even. It was really bad. Felt like menstrual pains. But I think it's the braxton hicks. Anyway, tried to get an appointment with gyn but he is away on holiday (AGAIN). I mean really??????

Miksmommy, are the damages extensive? As a former or out of work attorney with experience in RAF claims, if you need help holler at me.
I have an appointment on 2 Sept with my gyn in `south Africa.

GML, donn't stress about the dream. I have sexual dreams too but i can never remember with who so i just credit it to hubby.
In what line of work are you? SOunds like the time when i was doing my articles. You study for 4 years then have to do 2 years of articles earning R2000 a month in Jhb. No perks. I mean What the Hell??? My friend works at PWC and their medical aid also doesn't cover birth. She is still paying off the hospital.

where is everyone today?

Scan went very well! Our baby boy weighs 540g and is healthy and just perfect! The dr says he has chubby cheeks and a sharp chin! She checked everything - heart, brain, lungs, kidneys - and everything is measuring within normal range and is functioning properly! WOOOOOHOOOO We are so blessed and i'm so thankful for a healthy baby! It was so nice to have such a long scan... she even counted his fingers and toes for us!

gml (((big hug)) for you this morning! unfortunately its normal to have weird and often sexual dreams while pregnant. I think i read something its because of the increase of progesterone in your system. What a terrible experience! about your work sitsuation.... are you going to look for something else while you are on maternity leave? your boss really doesnt sound like a very nice person!

Tanya how is the aches and pains today?

Mutha2b have you made an appointment with a SA dr yet? I would really not stress too much about the baby being small. Some babies are small and others are bigger... its just one of things. I dont agree with your gynae either. Try not to worry too much about it, give it to the Lord and see a nice SA dr when you get here! Where does your parents stay? Champers is right, due dates changes ALL the time and very few babies actually get born on their due date!

Champers thanks for sharing what you learnt in class! Lying on your left side really work... i know i had to sleep on my left side when i was pregnant with Mik cause it lowers your blood pressure... no wonder she use to kick me like crazy!!
I cant wait to hear what awesome tips you get in this weeks class especially about natural birth! I dug up the notes i got at our prenatal classes and read some of it again... its amazing how much of the stuff i forgot!!

I have to be off... my appointment is a 10! I know my boy is going to be just perfect.. and i declare it in Jesus's name!

Hi ladies. Sorry i've been quiet, since they've revamped the site i can't log in at work- it is blocked as being a porn site of all things! Can u believe it? So i'm using my phone, which is a schlep.Miksmummy, sorry about the accident, just glad everyone is okay. GML, that is one crazy dream, but every resource on the internet says u should expect bizarre dreams esp in the second trimester. So don't beat urself up over it. Mutha2B don't stress about size as long as ur baby is healthy.

I am Traumatised.

I had such a weird dream and I know it's just a dream but I'm just so disgusted at myself right now.

I dreamed that my hubby was in the room with my Brother in Law and me. I saw my hubby there but he eventually disappeared but I could still feel him in my dream.

Ten out of nowhere my BIL starts touching me ripping my clothes off and he made me bend over and he was pulling my hair and I had sex with him. Well he had sex with me. I could still feel my hubby presence was still in the room with us. Then, I remember telling my BIL that he still has a lot to Learn. WTF ladies.


I woke up immediately shaking my head saying NO, NO NO, repeatedly. I went and took a shower but the images would just jump into y head and I would scream NO whilst in the shower. My hubby was so worried and I didnt know what to tell him. I chose to say nothing. I'm so disgusted at myself.

Mutha2b, I don't think it's right for your gynae to make that comment so soon, every baby's size varies and been small built I guess that answers it as well..

Well I am full of aches and pains today, back pain, aching just above my rib cage and earlier on had this strange tingling sensation in my boobs.... ..
