Mutha2b... I know for a fact that conception happened 12 March because thats when we had AI. That is why I work it out that the baby is due 3rd Dec. Doc says baby is due 30 November. He never has said that the baby is too small. The 18 week scan baby was measuring 18 weeks and 5 days. The 22 week scan the ultrascan said that measurements of baby indicated baby is due 2 Dec. Its all in the same week though. They apparently change all the time (due dates). Don't worry or stress about it. Baby will come when baby is ready!!

We have our 26 week scan next Friday.

mutha2b- thats very weird. He should be the one telling you what is. Besides, his scans have to tell you the gestational age of your baby. Hopefully, your gynae in SA will be able to put your mind at ease. Funny though because my gynae said I look very big for the weeks I'm at. but kept saying the baby is still small but all is good. I guess you never really know.

Nothing much to report but I'm feeling ok. Just a bit worried about things here at work. My boss just said well you dont really have maternity leave. We're just going to suspend your contract until you come back. WTF is that all about? So what do I claim for maternity benefits or UIF benefits? Arrrg. I really dont want to come back here.

All is well with your baby and so will the fetal assessment in Jesus' name. Enjoy it!!

I had such bad pains, scared me a bit but i always feel better after praying. ALso knowing that i will be in south africa by sunday makes me very very happy and calm. I just have more faith in our doctors and people i can communicate with freely.

My doc the last time irritated me. He kept asking me if I was sure about my first day of my last menstrual period. I kept saying yes but he insisted i go back and think about it again. He says my baby is a little small for the number of weeks i was. How could he?????????????????????????? I am short and petite, how the heck am i supposed to carry a giant of a baby?

Champers, I think i am as small or rather as big as you are, did your gyn also say anything about u carrying small or not? I am worried now (telling myself i am not thou).

i'm just checking in quick to say hi, will do personals later! I am going for my fetal assessment tomorrow and have been stressing about it all weekend but God is good and i'm sure everything will be 100% perfect! Last week was a nightmare... dh was in an accident... there is a mess with the insurance... so in the end its going to cost us a small fortune to get his car fixed and pay for the car that he smashed into! Luckily dh is fine and that is the most important! Chat soon! have a great day! xxx

Champers, i get alot of fetal movements when i lie on my left too. Wow, the can thing seems terrible but i will try as sometime baby is too quiet for my liking.

I have a doc appointment again on Tues. Have been seeing the doc 2 a week. But i am especially excited about this upcoming appointment as i will be getting my letter from doc for the airline. Yep, i'm coming to south africa and i am over the moon!!!!!!

Well I think the rest of the classes will be more informative. Also its nice to be able to ask any questions there and then. The midwife who gives the classes is the midwife who assists with deliveries at our hospital so for me its really nice to develop a relationship with her beforehand. Next week, Natural Birth, she is going into all the different pain options and its quite in depth. I'm glad I've joined the classes. First one, bit boring but I guess its just the intro.
