Sue if you have the money then surogacy is another way forward - the costs in SA would amount to around R400k.

It is a lenghy process and finding someone willing is often very hard to do. You also need to get your case approved by a Court Judge.

So just bare in mind it is not an easy option.

I have a friend who has just started the adoption process. Also took a long hard decision, and finally made the decision that this is what they want to do.

They started the process end of October with Procare - she is Cape Town based.

It might be nice for the two of you to chat (if you are interested) as you both may be going through the same experiences/doubts/processes, and it is always useful to have someone who is going through it as well.
