Sterretjie: Congratulations!!! Wow, such great news. I am really so so happy for you! Wonderful to hear that the pregnancy is going well. I can totally understand why you didn't want to share earlier, must have been really difficult not to tell.

AFM: Not much news on my side - My LG and I are both sick with hectic flu/cold. I think I am in my fertile period but all I want to do is sleep!

Flowergirl, Carmen, Gloeiwurmpie, Juno – hope you ladies are all well?
AFM – first day back at work after a holiday of a week and a half – bliss!!! We didn’t go away – I just needed time to rest – have been doing 3 people’s work for far too long but at least that is sorted from tomorrow!
Then, I have a confession to make – I AM PREGNANT!!!!!! After the whole fiasco of my MC earlier this year imagine our surprise when I got a BFP in August. We decided to keep it quiet until 12 weeks but it is a bit difficult – so I am spilling the beans at 10 weeks. I am so proud of DH for keeping quiet. We have been for 2 scans and we are so happy that after being off the pill for 9 years we can finally complete our family. DH was still under the impression that after this LO we can try for another one but he quickly came to terms with THIS IS THE LAST ONE!!! All is well except for a small tear in my placenta – I am on medication but my gyne doesn’t seem to be too stress about it.
Our last scan was last week Thursday and our little Peanut was 2.55cm with a heartbeat of 167bpm.

Extremely painful AF must say , woke up with pain yesterday night at 2:30 am had to take a painkiller and only then could go back to sleep

Feeling very tired today but have to take my dog to the vet , he's caught an ear infection , poor guy .... only about 70 days old
Too much about myself I guess .... how's everyone else

Hope we hear of many more BFPs sooner than later .....will give us all reassurance that our turn too will come to hold a little miracle in our arms
