Thanks for the heads up Nicolette. Have no idea what I will be on actually. Just used any drug name thinking one would have a choice.

Hi
GW- really frustrating as I decided to do the OPK to remove the guessing. But didn't work for me this cycle!!
Anyway...such is life. I'm sure AF is on it's way. If it doesn't show by the weekend I will test then.

Nicolette, I had to use Femara, Clomid didn't work for me. Much prefer Femara. But yes it's very pricey.

Juno- I am going through the same emotions as you. Don't know if I should just accept now and move on. I have decided that I will try until I am 43 next year. If finances and emotions allow I will try one round of IVF.
But
I feel I need some form of counselling if the IVF fails. For the finalilty of it all and acceptance.

Hi Juno - Where are you based? Down here in CT there is NO Clomid available. Also no Fertomid or ClomiHexal (the two generics). There is Femara, and the generic - which do the same thing, but are MUCH more expensive. Just thought I'd warn you - so you're not disappointed.

Carmen: That is what I found frustrating about the charting thing, the OPK's did not always match the temperature spikes. I kind of lean towards the temperature spike as more reliable? So frustrating if you know you didn't BD on the right time!
Are you going to take HPT or are you certain that there is no chance?

Juno: Thinking of you, this stuff is really really stressful, I can totally understand that you want to draw a line somewhere and move on.

Sterretjie: :) Still so happy and excited for you!!!!!!!!!!! :woohoo:

Sterretjie congrats! I don’t blame you in the least. Definitely something I will be doing if it happens for me. Have a happy and healthy pregnancy.

Sorry Nicolette 

Shame GW hope you can manage something.

AFM, have got most of my usual AF symptons – to the day, so roll on Clomid. I’ll do three medicated cycles for the remainder of the year and then decide whether to call it quits. I am far less emotional about it all these days and in a way am looking forward to closing this chapter as I feel like my life has come to a virtual standstill. I am getting more and more impatient to just move on.

Hi all

STERRETJIE! what wonderful news! Congrats! Wishing you a healthy pregnancy!

Nicolette, so sorry.

GW, I can empathise. Usually feel the same way.

AFM, looks like I missed O. The OPK was postive CD11 and temp increase only the 15th. NO AF yet which is normally here between 9DPO and 12DPO.
