Anyone else trying for a 2014 baby?

Sorry to hear about the crazy hormones! Did a doctor suggest any type of treatment for the crazy hormones, something natural or will it sort itself out?

I know you know a lot about pregnancies, but did your doctor tell you to wait 2 - 3 months for the hormones from the pill clear from your body before TTC?

It's been a long time since I was on Moomie and lots of new people!
Will do a quick intro:

I'm Meags and I use to live in Joburg. I moved to USA when I was 33 weeks pregnant and had my son Matthieu there. We moved to France last year December so now I live in Paris (my husband is French).

Matthieu is almost 31 months and we've decided to take the plunge and TTC #2.
I have been on a weightloss journey to lose the last pregnancy weight (lol!!) and didn't get my period the last 3 months. I also began lactating randomly. Blood tests showed normal prolactin levels, very very low estrogen levels and progesterone levels like a man :-0

So last Saturday I stopped my pill. Got my period 2 days ago and re-doing blood tests in about 2 weeks.

So that's my story!

Mickymuismommy: I only realise now how blessed we were to conveive my first child in the first month of trying. This really is stressful and it takes up a lot of energy, no matter how you try to just let go. I hear you!! I really have the utmost respect for ladies who have TTC for years and managed to keep the rest of their lives balanced, and those who have endured endless medical procedures...It sure takes perserverence.

I start on a thread then disappear as soon as it turns out i didnt conceive... it hits me hard every time no matter how much I tell myself to just let it be...
I also know I shouldnt be ungrateful..its only been the 4th month and some of you have been trying for years. How do you cope with the disappointment for so long?

But im not giving up, on friday I can take a pregnancy test.. so then we will see if this was the lucky month! (fingers crosses)

AFM: STILL NO AF...My weight loss journey has been a rocky one...but I'm on one none the less.

I need some info regarding Pathcare blood tests, I remember seeing an article/post about what can be charged for and what should be covered by medical aid. I seem to recall it SOMEWHERE on Moomie. Can anyone help me with this info?
