Anyone else trying for a 2014 baby?

AFM - I love the charting but yesterday I was totally surprised and kind of cheesed off that I got a very very positive OPK test, partial ferning on CD11! Today I had a temperature spike (maybe it was caused by lack of sleep?) which means that I ovulated yesterday, CD11. I guess I hoped the charting would show me a "pattern" as to which day I ovulate, but all it showed me was that I ovulate on a different day every month!! We did BD last night (both half asleep as my husband had a major crisis at work and only arived home 9:30).

First month of charting ovulation was CD14, next month CD12, and now CD11. I thought it would be more consistent?

I wanted to go for a follicle scan this month but my doctor wasn't there. I will make an appointment for next month for a scan and then also discuss the clomid and plan forward, unless we had success this month. My husband and I are both very hesitant about the clomid for fear of multiples. I really don't think I will cope!
My other concern is that if the clomid can't make me ovulate on the "non-working fallopian tube" I don't really see how the clomid will help unless there is another problem with low egg quality etc. Anyway....

I did a pregnancy test yesterday just to check that my hcg levels were 0 and it was negative so I'm hoping (against hopes) that just maybe (a small maybe) I did ovulate.

Scan over and done with. Dominant follicle is still small - 12mm. Another one of 9mm and then a cluster of tinier ones as well. BAsed on the size of the follies, gynae is predicting a longer cycle, so looks like ovulation will occur within the next 3 - 5 days.

I am still amazed at what mysteries this TTC journey can bring. It really is a very complicated process.

Hi all

Well.... scan revealed 3 follies one already 19mm! With no meds. There is no explanation, but it seems I'm in the middle of the next cycle with no real bleed
I'm happy! Lining on the thin side. POA start progynova. Scan on Thurs. Then maybe LH blood test and then possibly trigger shot and AI- if LH peaks then AI day after.
Shame FS is going on leave from Thurs, I think he will probablhy come in to do the AI. He does so on a Sunday if necessary.
Was so funny, he told me to behave. I laughed and said, 'yes, my cycle must behave!'.

Glad to know what is going on, even though I don't know exactly what CD I'm on or have an explanation of why there was no AF.

AFM- CD 50- going for a scan at 1pm today - to see what could be up? Maybe cysts? FS goes on leave on Thurs - so managed to sqeeze me in. Sinus infection is on it's tail end, I hope. Felt a lot better the last 2 days.
