Anyone else trying for a 2014 baby?

flowergirl, keeping everything crossed that can be crossed! Please let us know how the scan went.

Weird to think that if any of us conceive within the next 2 weeks our babies will only arrive in 2014!! Strange thought.

This month I am so excited about the saliva microscope. I figured it out and can't wait to see the ferning pattern. Being a designer myself I find it so inspiring on a spiritual and philosophical level that on a women's most fertile time of the month even her saliva turns into a beautiful piece of art compared to the infertile period that is just a mixed up design of irregular shapes. Such a miracle.

I like the 2014 name GW - as Sterretjie says, hopefully 2014 babies is a reality for ALL of us.....

I am off to the gynae tomorrow to do a follicle scan - fx'd that the clomid worked and that ovulation should occur within the next 5 days.

Juno, glad to hear that you didn't had to have a D&C. My dr told me after the MC that we can definately try again as soon as possible and then my good friend "google" also had lots of stories of ladies falling pregnant straight after a MC - unfortunately I wasn't lucky this time around but as you said hopefully in 18 months we will all talk about colic and teething and when to start potty training.

Juno, I don't know why I was worried re tube pregnancy - I think I am starting to worry about my age and falling pregnant and reading too much LOL

Love the new name - yes, we have missed spring but surely we cannot miss 2014!!!!!

Juno, holding thumbs for you but I can imagine how frustrating it must be not knowing what is really going on in your body and with the tests.

GW I was actually amazed at how often I read of ovulation (and sometimes pregnancy) occuring between an MC and the start of the next menstrual cycle.

However I reckon what's happened in my case is that the OPK picked up the hcg level which does apparantly give a positive for ovulation. And as for the cramping probably my body just getting over the MC.

What did google say? I guess it couldn't hurt using the opportunity as if it were a real positive...

So 11 days after my MC started and I got a positive for ovulation today. The reason why I tested is that I usually get low level cramping at ovulation and this is exactly what started today. Initially I though it was more cramping from the MC but based on some interesting reading I did around ovulation after MC, I decided to do a test especially as I had one left over from my last pack.

So I'm wondering whether this is a false positive as I was under the impression one couldn't ovulate with hcg present which as of yesterday morning was sitting on 83. I'm not sure how much further it would have dropped in the 24hrs between then and when I first started experiencing ovulation cramps this morning. Any thoughts?
