Morning ladies!!

Okay. I totally suck with this charting thing...

I struggled with the saliva microscope since I never saw any ferning and then after watching a youtube video I realised I was using it incorrectly!!! On CD13 I saw partial ferning thinking that ovulation will probably be on CD14. Last month I used 5 OPK's and never got a clear positive since I started testing too early and ran out of tests on CD14. So now I did a OPK on CD13 at 12 o'clock and it was EXTEMELY positive within seconds. Then I realised that I had a temperature spike on CD13....Therefore I ovulated already on CD12!!!! We missed it!! We did BD on CD8 and 9 but I think that was too far away. We did BD on CD13, but we might have missed it...

Clearly I don't ovulate on the same CD every month since last month was CD14. I see now why this charting is so valuable. Luckily I have the saliva microscope figured out now and will know how to use it next month having a better warning when ovulation is approaching since it picks up on the Estrogen spike right before ovulation.

PS: I also had insane candida which made it impossible to check my CM....Ahh...the joys of TTC

I told husband yesterday. I was so scared. its not completely unplanned though. we both knew I wasnt on birth control. we've been discussing 'a third' for months now.. not wanting to try, not wanting to rule it out. my heart strongly wanted one, my head was saying we're NUTS. (my head is still saying im NUTS)
