Anyone else trying for a 2014 baby?

Hi Juno, I can relate to your concern about whether something is wrong.

With my pregnancy #2 I could only get an appointment to see the doctor at 9 weeks + 2 days, and only then found out that there was no heart beat.

This time the easliest appointment I could get is 18 April (10 weeks + 5 days).
So I guess Im also going to hold back on the emotional attachment as much as I can until then. We certainly arent announcing anything until after that scan.
This being in limbo though is difficult. A lot of big decisions are resting on whether we do indeed have a third child on the way.... we're considering moving/ renovating etc.

Come to think of it, I think you never feel the same way about pregnancy after a loss.
there's always that additional stress, even after the magic 12 week mark is reached.

Juno, what you're feeling is totally understandable. Thinking of you and hope all is well and that the little bean is growing beautifully.

Carmen: I take my hat off to you. I am sure it takes nerves of steel to walk the journey you are currently taking. Good luck with this month!

Juno: I totally understand how you feel. Don't know if I am repeating myself but my LG was born with a bladder abnormality (nevermind the deformed toes!). It takes a lot of guts to take that chance again, knowing what could happen. The fact that my LG's Urologist said that should I have another child the baby must be tested at birth for bladder abnormalities since it can occur again. Not the news one wants to hear.
So, I totally understand your concern!! Thinking of you, please keep us updated of your doctor's visit etc! xx

Oh no Gloei! How incredibly frustrating. I know I am so lucky that I caught it last month as I didn’t test the day before I ovulated. It could so easily have happened on the day I didn’t test.

All I can now think about is what if this foetus has a birth defect like my previous one did. I try and be philosophical about it but it’s not making much of a difference. I’m only going to my gynae at 8weeks (usually go at 6) as I am trying to keep my distance from this pregnancy and not get to emotionally caught up - if that's possible.

Hi GW, yes we are going to do another cycle of IUI. Menatlly preparing myself already.
Just waiting for AF, to start meds.

Sorry I was so quiet the last few weeks, business trip followed by it problems and then a week on holiday

GW - that's the wonder of charting it gives you some trend and understanding of your cycles. You never kow maybe youre bd'ing was enough and the eggie was caught.

AFM - tested yesterday 12DPO - BFN - we did a cycle of IUI. Now have to wait for AF to arrive, because of the progesterone it's usually about 3-5 days after I stop the progesterone. temps have dropped so expect it soon.
