Anyone else trying for a 2014 baby?

Hope you don't mind me joining - we are also "unofficially" trying. I am saying "unofficially" to remove some of the pressure. We struggled for 6 years to fall pregnant with our first child - Carmen we use to be on the same thread. Inge was 2 in December and as I will also be 38 this year it is definately time to start again!!!!!!
So, tons and tons of baby dust to you all. Let's hope for those "spring" babies!!!!

Sounds like the famous female parts are giving you a hard time..It sure is a very complex system. I am really hoping for the best for you and let us know what your doctor says in Feb.

We are ttc as well.

My daughter is now 2years,5months.

My body does not ovulate, so I used Clomid with baby number 1. Have not been on any contraceptive since Em was born, so definitely need "help" again, because one can say I have effectively been trying for the past 2years5months.

Wanted to start clomid in October last year, but I had issues with countless UTI's and at my pap in November, gynae picked up some water cysts, so she advised I hold off for a bit.

Next gynae appt is Feb, 12th. Holding thumbs that she'll give me the all clear to start clomid.

I was also reading up now and internet says 5 days but I'm so scared to get a negative.

My car is also at the mechanic otherwise I probably would have rushed out time the shops ages ago.

Well, I have heard of women on this forum getting a very faint line as soon as 9 days after ovulation. But keep in mind since one doesn't always know for certain the exact time of ovulation. What I have read on the internet is that you can test about 5 days before your period is due. Because implantation can take anything from 7 - 12 days it all differs when your body will start producing HCG which the HPT picks up on.

That is why I tested today, thinking that maybe implantation only took 7 days but it seems as if that was not the case. So, you could test but know that it could not be a true indication of the situation.

300%? No, really that is crazy! My doctor charges 100% and he is a very good competent doctor with years and years of experience. I think it is just greed unless the doctor is x 3 more qualified and skilled!
