I phoned around and some charge 300% of medical aid rates. It's ridiculous. Can you imagine the Csection charges of that?

I hear you evestyles!! It sounds difficult to decide. I also had a c-section with my first and I am pondering the idea of a VBAC...But I don't know if I have the guts!

Maybe go back to your first gynae and if you feel like it you can switch later to another one?

It is quite shocking how some doctors charge so much more than certain doctors, I get really angry when this happens!

I left my first gynae, Dr Meiring, because of my almost forced Csection but now I've decided, for the moment, I won't be able to give through with natural coz I'm a wimp so might as well go back to him. Not sure.

I'm keen on CT Medi Clinic coz Discovery pays all but not at Kingsbury.

I have been to embarressed to post because I have all the "early pregnancy symptoms" possible!! I think I might be having a really good imagination...
I have had cramping for the past 5 days, almost like menstrual cramps but way too early for that in my cycle! I have had lower back pain and moments where my nose seemed to notice every smell in town! My breasts are terribly swolen and sore. I also feel bloated and heavy and it feels as if I have a bladder infection, constantly running to the loo! I had a few headaches this week too which is not the right time of month for my headaches (I get it normally day 1 - 7)....

I tested this morning because I just can't wait anymore, it was very negative but then I counted it is day 22 of a 26/27 day cycle and 8 days after the BD date. Therefore I guess it is too early to test...

Shame, it seems that a lot of doctors don't take in new patients or they are very fully booked, it does sound like a dilemma, good luck!

Just thought I'd pop in to say hi and see how everyone is doing?

Anyone in their TTW? I have 3 days to go till I can test and I must be mad because I'm making up symptoms haahahhahahah. No nausea or tender breasts but major backache, CM after ovulation which isn't normal for me, headaches, heavy pressure feeling, bloated like a whale, constipation.

Decided to find a gynae now so I can go for a checkup and pap. This is proving to be very difficult.

Yes, I agree, one has to at least know when ovulation is if you are TTC especially if trying for a specific gender!

I have the world of respect for couples who struggled, I think you need to be very strong to go through such an emotional and physical rollercoaster ride.

We had given up hope with the first one and then fell pregnant but that was after a looooong time. Not leaving to chance just yet, especially since we both want a girl and that needs to be planned.

I haven't even made gynae apps or anything so maybe sort that out first
