file Anyone else trying for a 2014 baby?

I have heard of so many people who said after struggling to fall pregnant they stopped charting, fertility treatments and then just let it be. Alot of them just fell pregnant when they stopped focussing on it. I can just imagine this must be the worst thing to hear when you are struggling to fall pregnant (stop thinking about TTC)...

I think it is about a week before implantation?? I think once implantation has started HCG is produced, but hey, I shouldn't be talking about this I think I am a bit clueless!
Will have to dust off my pregnancy books...

I am also having slight cramps, but I struggle with IBS with times so it might be that as well...

Last night I actually looked at my cycles of the past few months and realised that the past 6 months my cycle was only 26/27 days where all my life it was between 28/30 days. That means that I predicted ovulation incorrect by thinking that it was day 14/15 but rather closer to day 12-13!! So, I think we will be really lucky if we were successful this month.

Yes, I hear you about the second one being opposite to the first one, I have heard that A LOT!! My first one is also very easy....So, yes...

Thanks so much! That's just what I want to hear.

One of my best friends is pregnant with her first now, after having 2 miscarriages, and it happened without her even knowing so I'm hoping I'm implanting at the moment and I don't even know hahaahahah

How long after ovulation does implantation start? I have pin prick pains but I think I ovulated on Tuesday so still early days.

So awesome you're trying as well! A lot of people say that your second is opposite to your first. I'm scared coz Connor was an absolute angel when he was a baby (now changing of course coz he's 2!)

Hi Evestyles!!

My cousin struggled for a few years to fall pregnant and then she fell pregnant again by accident when their first one was not even a year old. So, it seems as if this TTC business is a weird one, first you struggle and then a second child arrives unplanned!

Holding thumbs for you too!

Hi all!

Hope you're well :)

I recognise some of your names, not sure if you remember me - it's been a while.

We are also trying for our 2nd baby, determined to have a girl as we already have a gorgeous boy.

Haven't really been trying that hard this time around - almost too scared to start trying because of how we struggled last time.

Just wanted to pop in and say hi.

4dpo and can't even remember what to look out for as it's been such a long time since we tried for baby number 1.

xxxx

Hi Nicolette,

wow, this TTC business sure is unpredictable, I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for trying for a year.

Strange how doctor's all have different opinions. When I asked my doctor when there is a strong decline in fertility he mumbled softly "33 years". That has been hanging over me like a cloud as well since I am past that too...I guess that is why he said don't wait around because time is not on your side. I guess one has to know that if one is older it will take longer to happen. I hope you get a sooner appointment!

Anyway, babydust to everyone! xx

Hi ladies. I'm also trying to fall pregnant. But we've been trying for a while now - over a year. I'm turning 38 this year. It's funny - when I had my first baby, my gynae said I must just fall pregnant with number 2 before I'm 38. And now that's hanging over my like a dark cloud!! Only six months to go. I have an appointment to see my gynae in Feb - and on a waiting list for an appointment sooner.

Thank you Carmen-capi33!

With our first child I became pregnant the first month we tried, keeping in mind that I have only one fallopian tube and ovary in working condition. :woohoo:

I realise now that I am 34 turning 35 in 4 months, therefore I will be very lucky if succeed without a few months of trying. So, yes, things might be different for me too!
My husband and I are both on Staminogro. My doctor said that I shouldn't waste time struggling to conveice and should come see him ASAP if we seem to struggle so that he can put me on fertility pills. So....I am hoping that we can have success with just trying without extra help.

Holding thumbs for you too!
