@ Ninie, I am so glad that you asked as I have asked the same question before. I have had ovulation symptoms such a ovary cramps/twinges, mood swings etc and always thought that I have ovulated. I went for a ultrasound last week and the gynae saw that I have almost no follicles and the one that I had was minute and his diagnoses together with my previous blood-work was that I was not ovulating each month. So the big question is how can I have all the ovulation symptoms and not ovulate? I have search all over the internet and still no answers
When I start my Fertomid cycle my gynae said that I need to go for the Pregesterone blood test on CD23 so if my levels are high it would mean that I have indeed ovulated. If the levels are very high then he is going to do another ultrasound to check the size of the follicles/eggs as one can have a nice Progesterone level but poor quality eggs.
The do say that one will ovulate anywhere from 5 days or so after taking the last Fertomid pill but everyone ovulates at different times so my gynae suggested we baby dance every day or every second day from the 4th day after the last pill till the 7th day just to cover all bases

a lot I know.
Morgan another lady on this forum suggested that I take the pill in the evenings to avoid all side affects as one is sleeping and I think that I will follow her advice.
You must understand that Fertomid does not make you pregnant. Fertomid only makes you ovulate so if there is anything majorly wrong with your partner then it won't work.
As for OPK's they are also becoming too expensive for me and I waste so much money one testing twice a day and then still getting negatives so the the new cycle I swear I will not be using them

But difficult as I love using them.
I am also seeing a gynae
Ps, sorry for the essay
