Yeah I dont know why there is a difference. In my previous cycles I took it from CD2 as he prescribed and am not sure if I ovulated as I did not test the first month. The second and third month I tested but only for 7 days (the pack contained 7 sticks) and ovulated one month. I was very excited. But boy do I remember every morning that I tested and did not get a smiley...I was very hopeful and my hope just vanished...
Then month 4 I decided to take fertomid as they explain on the leaflet that you get in the box. They prescribed it from CD5, I did not test for O that month.
In the leaflet that you get with the pills, they say that you should ovulate 6-12 days after finishing with Fertomid. That means I should ovulate around CD12-18, and my doc said we should try on CD13, CD14 and CD15.
These OPK's are just too costly for me to use it everytime. Do you think it is possible to have all the symptoms of ovulating and not ovulate? Like pain in stomach, moods, back ache etc.

The previous cycles of Fertomid I took in the evenings. The side effects were minimal compared to this month. I took it in the mornings, and felt irritaded all day....

I am holding thumbs that you will have very little side effects and that you will indeed ovulate.

What if I have always been ovulating and there is no issues but DH sperms just does not swim fast enough....

The doctor did not do all these tests as we are not with a FS, but only a gynae...
And also we have a 3year old boy so why would it be difficult now...

Not sure why we are all taking Fertomid at different times but I do know that my Gynae asked me so many questions about the length of AF (period) and my cycle length etc before he prescribed CD4-8. Anyways I am sure the doctors know best

How did you find the Fertomid in your previous cycles last year and did you indeed ovulate on them? I am using it for the first time soon and do not know what to expect.

EWCM is your egg white cervical mucus which is supposed to indicate you most fertile time just before ovulation. Some women get it and some women don't. No text book for us..

Morgan, I am just as impatient and I suppose that's not a good thing.... We are indeed tougher than what we think we are... But I would rather see AF than a BFN every month...

It's absolute torture I tell you... Im sitting on CD37 and 28DPO and I was convinced I was preggies until I saw that "Not Pregnant" on the digital test this morning, well that was me done, I burst into tears and ive been feeling down but I know I will pick myself up again and try again... As they say, it's not in our time but rather in God's time, theni end up questioning God asking "why"

@Lillyr - Dont stress hun, I also think its too early, my OB/Gyn said if I were to fall pregnant I must only make an appointment when I'm 8 weeks along. Relax doll! When are you going to see your gynae again?

@Jay-Bee - No, no I've never used Femolene, I got EWCM from Vitex. Yip, I'm CD14 today. Unfortunately no EWCM as I ran out of Vitex right before my AF started, so I havent been taking it for the past 3 weeks. I'm going for my tests on CD2, another 2 weeks or so to go.... I think you and I are wishing for AF to come hey, which is a first for me.

Wow it has been busy on here today...I love this forum and learn so much.

Jay-Bee01 - Today is my CD10. (I lose track so first had to check my "new" Ovia app . Anyway, the doc prescribed Fertomid from CD2-CD6, which seems out of the ordinary if I look at the other ladies comments. I am on 50mg, and this is my 5th cycle, but 1st cycle for 2015. I used it for 4 months last year from July.
I must say, I am very irritable at the moment, pooor DH.
Oh my all these acronyms....I will get there.
What does EWCM mean?

I am really wondering why there is a difference in the days that we are taking fertomid? I will ask the doctor the next time I see him. My AF is usually 5 days long and my cycle 28-29 days.
This stuff is confusing.
