TRYING FOR 2015 BABY

@LillyR - I also tend to test to soon... Very frustrating to see a negative, even though I'm now starting to expect a negative before I even test! How's that for Karma! I only use the Clearblu test if I'm almost positive that I'll get a positive. Otherwise, I'll use cheapies, such as the clicks brand, or any other cheap test I can find at the pharmacy. I live in a small town and thus pharmacists get to know us quite well. I've bought so many tests in the last few months, I think they feel sorry for me already. Like in - "Look at that girl! It's her 8 month coming in here buying a pregnancy test. She's either desperate, or have a serious problem!" I can also feel their sympathy when they look at me! lol!

@Jaybee - Our Gynae in Upington is the only one we have. So we have to wait roughly four to five weeks for an appointment. Unless you're pregnant - Then it's about 3 weeks. Eish! It's a long and anxious wait.

@Prayingforamiracle - It sucks to be ill! Hope you feel better soon! Summer flu is no joke!!

@Morgan - AF Sucks big time! Hoping that what you are experiencing is actually pregnancy spotting and not another disappointment. I'm currently roughly three of four dpo, and even though I know I could not have ovulated, as I've not seen any dark spots on the scan, I've had all the symptoms. Maybe miracles do still happen?? I'm holding thumbs for your BFP soon - Your journey has been long and hard - You deserve a blessing!

Oh, and Dr Google is awesome. He is a very cleva man. You google cramp in your toe, and all of a sudden you have cancer! Lol! I like to keep informed and to prepare myself mentally for what is about to happen, so I spend a lot of time on Google and Pinterest. Keeps me busy and out of trouble...

i was lucky i was on the pill for a year before i gt married and then my gynae told me to stop, but i got lazy to visit her, i went to a gynae in august last year again n she insisted i go for ovarian drilling, i was petrified, my dads bro is a GP and he also refused that, he put me on staminogro for the extra vitamins that i needed and glugophage for the PCOS i started the course in september, revisited my gynae in dec where again she insisted on ovarian drilling, but she didnt pick up i was pregnant, 4 days later went to my uncle and he insisted on a scan and bloods and turns out i was already four weeks pregnant.

if you have pcos speak to your gynae about glucophage it helped me

@ Lillyr, thank you so much for the encouragement, yes we are going to try BD'ing every other day just and not read into too much until we see the specialists You are still in the game until AF shows, but I know exactly how you feel she must either come or not so you can "get on" with it. You still have a few more days so keep positive. You right Dr Google does say the flu is a symptom I Google all my symptoms and when I don't have symptoms I Google that as well... can't win. I am holding thumbs that AF does not show and it would be so awesome of you got your BFP!!

@ayesha, thanks for sharing your story, if you dont mind me asking, were you on any meds for pcos?

@JayBee: the countdown begins. You know we will be right here with you till you get the BFP. Please dont put BD on hold this month, cos you will never know when it will happen. so your prescription is still BD at least every other day until you get further instrauctions neh?

@P4M1- flu? err dr google does name it as a symptom hey. FX. Get well dear

AFM- I think AF is coming, I feel a little crampy as I always do before AF. So i cant wait for her to come and go so i can start a new cycle.. a lovely day further my ladies

hi ladies, sorry to jump in, but i have been following your journey and i can honestly say i found my strength on this site, its amazing how much the people i have met have helped me, i am 25 and married 3 years, we been trying since day 1 and no1 ever understood what i went through, i use to be broken but i stumbled on here and it changed me, i hope you guys get the baby dust i am sending your way.

i have severe pcos, but my miracle happened and i have full faith that you all will receive your miracles also.

Jaybee!! That's excellent news!! Specialists like that usually are fully booked so to be able to get an appointment within a month's time is pretty awesome.

P4M1 - get well soon!!! I agree with Jaybee, it SUCKS having a cold in summer. I think it's even worse than getting sick in winter.

OK ladies, AF arrived this morning. At least, I think she did. When I went to the bathroom just now there was no sign of AF...? I also didn't know when I O so, I couldn't keep track. Now, I also don't have the regular AF symptoms.

I'm so confused right now. Gynae specifically told me to make sure that it's a 'regular period' and not just spotting because if it's spotting, I could be pregnant. This after she did the sonar and saw that I had an egg of not even 1cm.

On the other hand, it could be a 'reserve egg' while a fully grown, normal egg was released and that, by an honest to God miracle, I conceived and am actually pregnant.

I'm going to have to go and buy a HPT...
