TRYING FOR 2015 BABY

@Morgan.. so sorry about the insensitive people. What i have realised though is that not everyone is aware of how difficult it is, or just how sensitive this subject is. Personally only after joining this forum did i realise how hard it can actually get, not that i used to ask or make comments about pregnancy(i feel its a personal choice for mom and dad when they want to have kids), but i got so annoyed as well when i started being the topic when family and friends meet 'your baby is old, time to have another one, or I am getting old, i need another grand child', mind you non of those people actually ever helped in any way, not even baby sitting..LOL but they had the nerve to ask about babies ..LOL. So find a line that will shush them for good, or brush it off when they make remarks.

Lovely message you wrote there, i feel the same. lovely thread we have, and thanks for the support. THis is one place one knows they can lay it bare and not worry about being judged..so thanks ladies

I know how you ladies feel.

My one friend got pregnant without even trying, a week or two after she said that they do not want to get pregnant now due to financial reasons and we mentioned that we are eager to have our first baby. I was devastated when I heard the news. I threw a tantrum like a toddler, as I felt it was so unfair. And as Murphy's Law would have it, almost 15 girls I know fell pregnant right about the same time. And me? Nada!! Nothing. I felt at one stage that our town's water was infected with something, and because I drink filter water, I didn't catch the pregnancy bug...

Everywhere we go, people ask us whether there is a baby yet... And each time the answer is the same. Not yet. Baby is on order. Waiting for delivery. But it gets difficult, as I do not know what to answer them anymore...

My mom doesn't understand. Apparently, infertility is not in our family. Yet, I have been struggling now for 8 months. My sister and my mother got pregnant within 2 months of trying. My hubby did a sperm analysis two weeks ago, and it came back normal. Then I went go Gynae and it was discovered that I'm not ovulating. No wonder the bug in the water didn't get me...

We've been trying for 8 months now. 8 very long months. 8 months of hope and trying and waiting. 8 months of disappointment and frustration. Hopefully the Fertomid works as many of you ladies say. Hopefully a December baby?? Who knows...

@Morgan - Yip, I think so too and then she will never understand the pain we go through.

People can be so insensitive and don't realise it hurts when they ask when will the babies be coming or telling us stories on how easy it is so conceive

Love hunger games, ja?? I'm busy reading the last book in the series, to keep my mind of the TTC'ing and BD'ing that's driving me insane!

It is still two weeks left before I can start on the first round of Fertomid and I am extremely impatient! I'm wishing the weeks gone!!

@ Morgan, lol excited about AF that's a new one The countdown has began to a new phase in your life, I am super excited for you too. I also am so grateful for this site as I truly understand what each lady is going through and feel their ups and downs

@ Lillyr, when are you going to test again? I am sending you loads of baby dust. The last few days before AF is due to arrive (or not) is the worst.

I bet your friend will get pregnant without even trying. The one woman I work with told me a few months ago that her daughter got pregnant after 2 months and her daughter-in-law got pregnant without even trying. This, while she knew that hubby and I have been trying for a year.

I didn't handle it very well. I cried like a baby later because even though I am happy for her, I felt that she didn't need to tell me how easy it was for them.

Ah well.
