@ Morgan55 - I have to agree, I've tried to talk to my friend about our journey, she does help and support but she doesnt fully understand what we are going through. They are now not going to try but not prevent either. I dont know how long her journey will be but until she get to where we are she will never fully understand.
I enjoy this board much more than the other board I have joined, I feel you ladies are much more supportive, thanks for that! And I havent even been on here for that long but I cant wait to log on in the morning to see whats the latest updates. xx

Apologies for gate crashing this thread. I'm also hoping for a 2015 baby - If not, early 2016.

To start first round of Fertomid 100mg on either 2nd or 3rd March. Holding thumbs for a first time lucky.

Ladies

After reading through the posts that we've all contributed I realized that many of us (myself included) share so much of our personal feelings, suffering, joys and craziness with women that we'll probably never meet face to face.

Just wanted to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart. My ttc journey had me feeling utterly alone even though I would talk to hubby and share my fears with him but, even though I wasn't keeping everything completely bottled up and even though I know that he will do anything to make me feel better, it wasn't always enough just talking to hubby.

Also, talking to friends and family who have never struggled to get pregnant is like talking English to someone who isn't English speaking. I shared my ttc difficulties with 2 friends and I constantly got replies like 'I don't know what to tell you', 'I'm sorry', 'I understand how frustrated you must be'.

Truth is, they tried to understand and tried to help but they didn't really know what gut wrenching agony it is to have a glimmer of hope every month and then have it shattered by AF's arrival. They didn't understand the pain, frustration, despair, utter heart breaking grief that passes through you each and every month.

It was only here on Moomie, talking to ladies in similar situations who understood the ttc journey isn't always smooth sailing and sun shining joy. Women who truly KNEW the pain, truly tasted the grief and felt the burning frustration pounding in their ears, scorching in their hearts that I felt I finally had someone to talk to.

Yes, I really am truly grateful to each and every one of you who has read my posts, responded with stories, given hope and support, laughed and cried with me.

You ladies are amazing, courageous, strong and never let anyone - ANYONE tell you differently.

@Morgan, AF is not always a witch hey, because honestly it means a possible new beginning. We just dread her cos at times she shatters our hopes..kikikki. But i am so excited for you. All the best hun.

its funny tho that most of us are praying that she stays away, you on the other hand cant wait for AF...LOL.

guys were can i get a dose of patience? i feel so impatient today, I cant wait to start dreaming of blue and pink. LOL, i have to stop myself from dreaming of how the baby room will be,if i will be buying blue or pink..does it happen to you guys?

@ Amagoqoz that's excellent news. My advice would be to drink the fertomid at the same time every NIGHT. Some ladies say that they have side effects. I drank my batches at night and was 100%

I haven't even heard of the sperm meets egg plan will do some digging although don't know why...

Jaybee - don't worry too much about it. I think if dr said 1% less than normal he didn't mean only 1% good swimmers.

AFM, don't know how many dpo I am at the moment. It's CD26 but that means diddly with my cycles. AF (according to my best guess ) should be here by Thursday or Friday. I can't tell you guys how excited I am. Yes, yes, I know that sounds silly. Being excited about getting AF. You guys must think me totally loco but it means that I can start making calls to gynae and getting the ball on the roll or swimmers in the pool so to speak.
