I know quitting smoking is not easy, I too have to quit. But like you say it is for the best. I found it helpful to keep my mind and hands busy to not think of smoking, sort out a wardrobe and maybe some old clothes that you don't wear anymore. Clean the house or watch your favorite movies and episodes while munching on popcorn (healthy option) or chips (not so healthy option)

You are going to go through some big changes but just think in the end you will hold your beautiful baby as a reward

I feel the same P4M1, if it wasn't for you girls I would have gone of my rocker already... . I just NEED to get the following out! I am so emotional and I stopped smoking as well. My DH and I love going to a pub to watch rugby... the season started today, I told him we will be watching at home, as I will NOT sit where people are drinking and smoking and partying next to me and I cannot join in. I know it is for a good reason, but the fact that I do not feel pregnant makes it really difficult... don't know how to explain it... and I do not want to sound selfish..but it does sound selfish... ai jai jai... all these emotions and changes that are happening, I knew it was going to be this way and I am so ready for all the sacrifices but it really seems difficult at this time now that it is a reality... I think it is because nobody knows and DH's support is not enough... so thank you to you girls it really helps chatting to you!

My mom was also a single parent, in a way it is a blessing to have a mom like that! All their time and devotion go to us I love my mom to bits. She is my mom but also my best friend

@ P4M1, I love your names and I though it was just me choosing names already. My mothers name is Rosemary and she raised my sister and myself alone and is such a beautiful person and a saint in our eyes. Her nickname is Rose or Rosie so my sister and I decided we are going to start a family tradition when we have a little girl (if we have two then only the first one) to use my mothers name in any part of our girls name. My sister beat me to it and her little girl is called Olivia Rose and I chose the name Rosalie. Hubby gets to choose the boys name I don't have any symptoms except the slight fullness in ovaries. Maybe BD tonight and tomorrow and hoping for our November babies

@ Morgan, my hubby has been really supportive and never battered a eye when he had to be tested. I never really thought that the results could give a bash to his manhood. Thank you for that as I will make a huge fuss over him tonight and spoil him. Also if the tests are fine I am definitely going straight away to have my tubes tested thanks for that info too. Wow imagine 8 kids all I can imagine is the loads of washing. I always wanted to be a twin

@ Babydream, I also had to explain to hubby how the great sperm race works as well lol and that we only have a very small window to conceive and that the egg only gets released once a month. I will be holding thumbs for you when you test again - hang in there and loads of baby dust.

@ Lillyr, maybe been so tired is a good sign too relax this weekend and give yourself a break from the tww and be strong, baby dust to you.

I had the mirena for 3 years, 2 years of it was great no complications but the last year was horrible, I had recurring infections (sorry - tmi) and that was my main reason for removal. Obgyn did an internal scan and everything seemed normal at that time. She even said we can go ahead and try to conceive. You know what I just want to be checked, if I know I am 100% then I would probably stop worrying. I truly feel that I need to do this.
My friend also had the mirena and she was preg within 3 months after removal.

I agree with Morgan55, men don't understand our bodies and reproductive systems like we do, they think its wham bam and out comes the baby!
That is why I say do what you think is best
As to your question about the Mirena, I never had one but my mom did, when they took it out she fell instantly pregnant with me. So either she was super fertile or very lucky!
