This going to be a silly question
I know we don't have our BFP'S yet and it is way too early to be thinking about it, but do any of you ladies have names that you want to give your yet to be conceived baby's?

Mine is for girl: Haley or Catherine (My late grans name) or Wilmari (Me and DF'S names combined)
For Boy: Michael (DF's grandpa) Peter (My grandpa) or Werner

I know its hard keeping it quiet, I wanted to tell everyone when I got my BFP! But we decided to wait and only tell my mom who is a qualified nurse with over 21 years experience. I'm so happy that I did wait because it ended with early M/C.
My doc said that waiting for 12 weeks is a nonsense story because either way you need to have a support group, so this time when I get my BFP I'm telling my close family and friends

I hope you get those 20 fingers and toes

Can't remember who asked... but NO this was our 2nd IUI. Just some history, my cycles are 100% every month and has been all my life, there was no reason at all why we could not conceive, DH swimmers count little low, but nothing to be concerned about. I do however have some fibrosis, but also not enough to worry about. We also had my tubes checked and they were beautiful as the FS said. So FS had me on Femara from day CD3 for 5 days (once a day at more or less the same time every time in the morning), and Menopur injections every 2nd day also at the same time every night between 4 and 6, we did it exactly 18h00 (3 injections), FS did a scan to check the eggs and only found 1 and the night after the scan we injected Ovidrel (to kick start ovulation), and inseminated 2 or 3 days later then I had to take Progesterone every morning and night till the first blood test, we were unsuccessful, this was November last year. We skipped Dec as the clinic closed over Xmas and that was more or less the time we would have had to be there. So Jan we decided to try again. This time FS put me on Fertomid also 5 tabs (once a day) and Menopur again but this time only 2 injections, did the scan and was lucky this time with 3 mature eggs, Ovidrel again, then insemination and the the progesterone again... I had AF cramps during the TWW and I still have as if I am about to start AF, but it doesn't last very long... maybe once or twice a day. When we went for the blood test, FS said that my count was very high and I am definitely very pregnant, he said we will see how many there are with the scan! I need to take the progesterone till 12 weeks. So I really do hope for 20 fingers and toes... (not on one baby obviously ) It is really hard at the moment for me as nobody knows except FS, DH and you guys, we want to keep it quiet till 12 weeks, but I think I am going to break at 8 weeks... and tell the family. Oh I am now in my 4th week. Monday we start week 5.

Babydreaming88 - I also think it's still a little too early to tell. Remember that it's always 14 days between O and AF. ALWAYS!! People make the mistake of thinking that it's 14 days from AF to O but it's actually 14 days from O to AF. So, hunny, it's probably still too early to get that BFP! Just give it a few more days and you'll see...

JayBee - Good luck with the results!! Hope and pray all will be well. Men tend to take 'negative' results very badly and think that 'it's an insult to their manliness'. The fact that hubby went for tests without being 'bitchy' about it means that he's at least open to the possibility that maybe his swimmers aren't swimming freestyle.

I had so many problems with my phone trying to get on here last night, I apologize that I didn't respond sooner. Plus, I'm feeling tired this morning and just blah, blah, blah. Not in the mood to do anything. If I could, I would have stayed at home, preferably in bed too. Just one of those days I guess.

To everyone else who posted yesterday, ladies in tww - good luck!! Ladies gearing up for big O - Oooooooo!!! Have fun!! That's the most important thing. Ladies who got BFN - it hurts so much, I know.

As for the CP and CM - CP is tricky as some people's cervix sits higher than others so you don't always feel it. I know that my gynae said when you are close to O, then cervix is soft and when you lay on your back and press on your bladder with a flat hand and insert finger inside, then you should be able to feel it.

When she told me this I asked her if she thought I was a contortionist. Really? Lie on your back, insert finger and press on bladder at the same time? Yeah, I can totally do that...

Also, CM is supposed to be 'stringy and elastic - y' when you're close to O. That's what I was told anyway...

Ladies, it's chaos here again today and I am SO NOT IN THE MOOD to be here today but jaaaaa. If I don't sign off now, I probably never will...
