DH is using sperm-i-prove and staminogro, not to sure if it works (clearly it hasn't worked yet lol) but I believe in it so we will wait and see. We are seeing the Gynie on the 26th so I will ask her then if he should continue with that or use something else.

I am currently on CD9 - nothing much to report. I actually forgot to take my bbt again this morning We are trying to eat more healthy, we made our own orange juice over the weekend (oranges and Mineola's) it is very nice, I am just having one small glass in the morning. Also bought other fruit for smoothies in the morning, so lets see how this goes

@Thandi - How have you been hun? How is your TTC journey going? Have you done the insemination yet or are you waiting for the right time in your cycle?

@Liza and the Mrs - how are you girls doing? What is news with you?

For me - I actually felt (for the very first time in my life) how and when I ovulated. It happened saturday afternoon after 3'ish. And this cycle I got 3 Smiley faces on those OPK's. I stopped testing but I am sure If I tested again Saturday afternoon I probably would have gotten another one. I read that you must only go by the first positive that you get.
And then to confirm it all I had a temp dip on CD15 and since then it has been increasing. I am currenty on CD 17, so 2DPO. I am really hoping for this cycle.

Well I'm not officially in the TWW. For me this is the most boring part of TTC. There's simply nothing to do but wait. I'm expecting AF next Wed, so between now and then it's just waiting waiting waiting. Will probably test on wed too if she doesn't arrive.

Landed up sick this weekend Chest all tight and eina. Burning coughs. Been taking ACC200 and Chest Eeze (by Tibb) to try loosen the phlegm, and been nebulising with saline 3 times a day. I feel quite a bit better today thankfully, but the coughs still burn. Spent most of the weekend just lazing on the couch doing as little as possible.

How's everyone else doing?

Like you say atleast we know now and we can work on it. But somehow i have lots of hope for this cycle.

Has anyone tried sperm-i-prove?

I also read that not enough sex can also cause a mans sperm count to decrease.
There is also foods that can improve it, like oysters, asparagus, watermelon, and walnuts. Very interesting.

@liza - how are you doing? My Dh said it was very akward and he struggled ti give him sample and he hoped the sample was good. I dont think that influenced the results but he did find it akward. I know you can do it at home and just take the sample in. See the thing is because we already have one child we did not think that the problem would be with him. But in the end God decides and not medical tests etc. But i must say We should have done this in the beginning. It would have saved us alot of money and heart ache as I was feeling very useless every month that Af showed her face. It will still be gard now but knowing is better to absorb and make peace than not knowing.
My brother who is a body builder and who takes /took steriods doctor said he only has 3 "paralysed" sperms. Well guess what. Without taking anything or any iui their baby girl is due early July!

@Inca - holding thumbs hun. That spotting and cramps sounds so so promising. Baby dust girl!

Interesting that they said no sex for a few days leading up, and on the day of the test. Although I have heard that a few times before, also for iui and ivf etc, i think they say no sex for 3 days before. Yet when I was reading up the other day on how frequently to have sex for best chances of bfp, I saw a number of articles state men shouldn't wait too long between sessions of ejaculating, as the quality of the sperm is then not very good, and also the amount is less. there were also a number of instances mentioned when people went for iui, 2 days in a row, and every time the second day's sperm sample was much more and much better quality than the first day's sample. So that was interesting. And all those were men with low sperm counts etc.

@ Liza, also the Pathcare sample container is sterilized and it has to be a straight into the container sample. So no condoms or any other substances that might interfere or mix with the spermies
