@P4M1 - totally like one of those parody movies. I myself am very opinionated, but I really do try to stick to things I know something about and not focus on my good friend google to give me "scientific" proof. And then totally stay away from those taboo subjects and just watch as you say

I am on CD12 and had a - OPK test today. I used to use those clear blue digital ones but holy crap those are expensive!! I just got the regular clear blue ones this time so hoping they are as easy to read as the digital one is. Didn't honestly think it was going to be positive, but want to try to do the twice daily test thing to see if can get a better idea of when I get the surge. Honestly think I will only ov on CD14

I am still quite germy but I will survive!

On a side note - I follow this group on FB called Mamhood Gauteng - they have groups in all metropolitan areas. So today they posted a "hot topic" which they do every week and this week its the dreaded 'vaccination' topic. Oh gawd!!! You should see the discussions/attacks there.

You know how they say that you should never talk about things like politics and religion? Well I would like to include vaccinations and circumcisions in that list as well!!

I'm so sorry for your loss, I know it's heartbreaking to go through. I also had a mc at 7 weeks. As far as Dnc goes maybe ask dr Google?
I've read a few posts on it but not enough to give a good answer. I hope your Ttc journey is short and sweet and that you will get your rainbow baby soon.

@Jannet - Im so sorry about your loss. Dont they say that you are your most fertile after a DnC or am I confusing it with a different procedure? FX for a speedy BFP for you!!

@Nikita - That sounds like the Big O with the change in temp. Im so looking forward to seeing what my temp does this month and how it charts. I seem to be around 36.0 degrees this week and CD5 today. Will see how and when it increases.

D&C stands for Dilation and Curettage - if you miscarry and your body doesn't pass everything properly, then they do a D&C. Basically they crank open your lady bits and clean out the uterus.
I've never had one though so not sure about how long for cycles to return to normal.

So sorry for your loss Jannet. I really hope this is your lucky year and that 2016 brings you your rainbow baby.

Nix - as far as I know there are no lady gynies here in the Northern Suburbs CT. There used to be one but she moved out stellenbosch way. I also was very hesitant to see a male gynae, really really hesitant (had deliberately chosen a female GP a few years before so she could do my paps etc), but in the end I had to go to a male and found a really lovely one and I'm totally happy with him and don't really feel all that uncomfy with him checking things etc. He's got a fantastic bedside manner and just puts me at ease so well. I'm happy to pm details if you want. He's at durbanville medi clinic.
