@EmJ - Everything Nikita said is right, I also had a large cyst that was very painful. My periods were extremely painful and I suffered from quite a few blood clots at the end of AF. I only waited about 7 months or so before consulting a Doctor because I knew something was wrong. I wasn't on birth control before starting TTC and so there was no reason why TTC should be taking so long. Im glad I trusted my gut and went to sort it out.

@Nikita - My difficult one is the red meat... I really love rooibos tea and so it is a good replacement for the coffee. I agree, these men have much less issues than us women!

AFM, Im feeling rather cranky today..... :swear:  Crazy hormones

Hi Ladies,

@ Chanti - I will be okay with avoiding the bread, sugar and red meat.... but my coffee omw I love my coffee   I actually have a limit now to only drink 2 cups
I am sorry that you have all that crap and that is just what it is crap, I can say a few other words :swear: but I might get banned from here  I don't like it when people say that you only get stuff that you can handle..... but I know I can handle it I just don't want it
Big hugs to your side. In my next life I want to be a man.

@Jooste - I will probably get clomid if we didn't conceive this cycle  I normally get all the funny side effects from products that only 1 in a mil people get

@Anzel - have you tried any online stores? I have not seen any as yet, but will keep an eye out for it.

@Lush - Any news?

@EmJ - I had painful periods, been off the pill for about 4 years, more brownish discharge, also didn't really have a flow (sorry if TMI) You have to go for a laparoscopy surgery so that they can check everything and that is also how they determine endo etc.
I cant remember the ages but I think if you are under 30 and you have TTC for more than a year then you should consult your doctor. If you are over 30 and have tried for more than 6 months then you should start investigating. I am not sure about the ages so correct me if I am wrong please. :)

AFM - CD21 - 7DPO

Blessings to all

Wow lots going on here, or I've just been a bit MIA - still getting the hang of the forum thing! :silly:

@Anzel - The town I stay in doesn't have Conceive Plus or Preseed but I do go to the city a lot for work - I might go sometime this week or the next, as soon as I know I'll ask you on here if you have managed to find Conceive plus yet - if not I'll be happy to buy for you and courier. Or if you want to contact the shop directly and ask them its the Dischem in Canal Walk in Cape Town.

@Chanti - It's the first time I've heard of that when you mentioned it - had to go Google it. See what happens at follow up Dr appointments and then if at some point things feel very serious and unsure (for lack of better way to explain what I mean) then consider getting a second opinion? But never lose your go-getter attitude about ttc, a few of us have said it and I'm sure it can get annoying, but I'm SO happy for you that you're still young - so you can go step by step without having the pressure or age. At 31, only now trying for nr 1 adds a bit of pressure I never realised would be there! But keeping you in every prayer!

@Nikita - I'm CD23 - and according to my guess 8DPO - I know implantation only happens somewhere now - but 8DPO has thus far been where my urge to poas kicks in, and it has! Thankfully no tests in the house & way too hot to go buy any, so I'll just hang on :) But my gut says this isn't out month.

@Jooste - hot flushes in summer does not sound fun, hope you work in a aircon office or else can sit in the pool at home the whole day :)

@Lush - sooo happy for you! Would be awesome if its twins! :woohoo:

AFM... tww is evil, evil, evil - but don't have my hopes up! Hubby thinks I'm being negative, but I'm not - just have this feeling this isn't our month.

I was wondering, how did those of you with problems pcos or endo ect realise you had it? Symptoms or ttc wasn't successful and then went for tests?

Hope everyone's having a good Monday!

@jooste - Im actually not sure what can be done.. It seems like there is very little information about it and those that do know a bit have conflicting views... Argh I wish I atleast had something that had a cure and that was more common.

Lush
Are you still taking your progesterone suppositories??

Chanti
Nope, I do not know much about adenomyosis when it comes to fertility, just that it leads to painful intercourse and painful menstruation. Is there some surgical intervention of some sorts?

AFM
Just experiencing hot flushes at night time (on the Femara). Other than that - no side-effects. When I use to take Clomid I use to have horrible headaches. Femara is really a breeze. I feel very lucky not having any side-effects.

Hey ladies!

@Nikita - I try to avoid coffee, sugar, bread, red meat. The red meat is a real challenge! My lamb and chicken is all home grown so I know that it is hormone free, my dad has sheep on the farm and we grow our own chickens in our yard. I also only drink out of glass bottles and I don't heat food in plastic containers. I use minimal cosmetic products but I don't make any natural things yet so it is difficult. It would be ideal to make your own shampoo, washing powder, etc. There are extremely harsh chemicals in those including xeno-estrogens which is a huge contributor to endo. The visanne seems to have reduced AF to a mild spot this month so I'm stoked about that!! no pain!!

@Lush - How are you doing hun? Is everything still okay?

@jooste - How is ur Femara going? Any side effects?

Ladies, do you any of you have adenomyosis a.k.a bulky uterus? It is associated with endo. Im really interested to hear about any pregnancy successes as there isn't much info as to how it affects implantation.

Morning Ladies,

@Lush - How far along are you? If you feel worried go to the gynaecologist. Is there a lot of brownish, light red discharge?

@Jooste - Holding thumbs for an amazing Ovulation!!!

@Chanti - Are you on any specific eating plan (for endo)? I started my low GI eating plan again, no red meat (allergy  ) and trying to stay away from chocolates lol

EMJ - How many DPO are you?

AFM - CD20 and 6DPO (according to FF) I have a very rocky chart as I took my temps at different times of the day :S
My face looks terrible, pimples everywhere, I even have some on my neck
My hormones are still a bit freakish

Blessings to all
