When i went for the sonar and check up the Gynie said that there is no syst or anything irregular.

As i understand my left ovarian is not ovualting. The right side is still ok. The gynie says they are just "lazy and need a kickstart" with the pills.

So beside them being asleep there is nothing else that needs fixing.

Hopefully Fertomid gives them the wake up call that they need!

@MTC - Here is a big hug for you darling. It is not a nice feeling when one gets to find out your friends are expecting...I even get the same nasty taste in my mouth when I see a pregnant lady in the mall!!!
But our time will come - soon! We have to keep strong and preservere like Chanti says.

@Liza, Yeah we must remember (and I think we sometimes forget it) that Fertomid will not make you pregnant. It only induces ovulation, thats it.
But I suppose you have a better chance.
I was on it last year for 4 cycles and never got a BFP. My gynae also said some women only get their BFP after they finished using Fertomid for 3 cycles, so who knows.

I must say, they say ovulation will happen 6-12 days after Fertomid, but again that is for the average woman and we are not average. Everyone is different. So best is to test with OPK's, get yourself the Ovia ap, and track temps and CM. That is what I think.

Sorry you are feeling low MTC. I must say, after yesterdays ovary pain, I feel like I have missed this month and all hope is gone... Not sure why as it is perfectly normal to have cysts and get a BFP!! Atleast BD brought us all great news today and brought some happiness

Liza, yes... It does drain you emotionally.. TTC aint for the faint hearted, really need to be tough - emotionally and mentally I suppose...

@ Ninies i started my Fertomid on CD3 to CD7. So i calculated that ovulation would be any time between 25 to 2nd May??

Has anyone gotten a BFP from using Fertomid?

I have prepared myself that its not going to take only one month of trying.

It just drains me emotionally when AF comes. We keep on hoping and feeling symptoms and reading into everything!

The tummy things works if you have a retroverted uterus.
The angle the uterus lies inside you normally means that lying with pelvis raised after intercourse allows gravity to help the swimmers along. But if you have a retroverted uterus the angle is the opposite and so lying on your tummy works best.
