@Jay-Bee - Oh hun, I'm so sorry, its always hard for us ladies to hear when someone is unhappy about their pregnancy. Sometimes life can be so unfair but hun our time will come. Stay positive, its not always easy I know. You will get pregnant hun, its gonna happen. Please pop in, we're gonna miss you on here. :(

@ninies - Eish girl, you have had a real roller-coaster ride hey. GL with you new cycle hun! Hope this will be your month!! No I was clean this cycle, didnt take anything.

@Mrs S - Should I get my BFP I would love to stay in touch with all ladies here but I do understand that it can get depressing of the one's who are still TTC. Its a very sensitive subject. Hard to say but I think I will make that call once I get there. What will the rest of the ladies do?

Morning Ladies,

Hope you all well, right where to start?!?!?!?!?

Chanti, I hope you ovulate soon but in the mean time keep 'baby dancing' ;)

Liza, sorry Af arrived in all her glory but at least this is a brand new cycle for you..

Mrs Smith, how you doing? What's news your side?

BD, im feeling loads better thank you hun... Ai! Im so sorry you having such a long cycle, but in the same breath those symptoms are sounding so promising and it's not easy not to symptom spot, we only human... Do you have to have AF before you start the Vitex? When are your blood tests happening hun?

Jay-Bee, im so sorry to hear hun, its not easy... And your friend probably wasn't even trying to fall pregnant and it's happened so easy for her... Maybe this break will do you good, gonna be sad to see you go even though it's for a few weeks... But I wish you best on your TTC break and you know where we are ;)

AnzelMama, how is your chart looking this morning? Your symptoms too sound promising... Gee whiz! It clearly happens easier for some and not for others.. Must be tough hun and she's blessed with another 2 babies...

AFM, CD8 and started on 'week 2' of my Femolene and drinking my Green Tea religiously :S And 'baby dancing' commenced last night on CD7, will start with OPK'S on Sunday CD10 either than that not much news my side...

@Mrs Smith - Thanks for the info on the ear temperatures. It makes totally sense. I will continue to take my temperature then orally. I suppose I will get used to it.

I was wondering the same thing - so thank you for asking the question on what happens when we do get our BFP's. I also started getting attached to the ladies here, so would be sad to leave. I think we must just pop in from time to time.

Is there any older ladies here ttc? I am 35, and have a boy of 3 years, but I feel like my time is running out fast for baby number 2. What would you say is the maximum age to try until?

Regarding the ear thermometers - I can't say for sure as I've never temp-ed, but I do know if you have been lying on the ear you take a temp with it will give a false high reading. So if you take your temp the moment you wake up, you're not always aware how you were sleeping and you might get inaccurate readings.
I had that happen with my son in hospital once - he was about to be discharged, having recovered from an infection. The nurses came at like 4am to do his vitals, and his temp read over 38C. They wanted to medicate. I told them no, I didn't believe it, he was due to go home. And insisted they check again. Next reading was totally normal (just below 36C). So using an ear temp after you've been lying on the ear definitely gives false readings.
I have heard that temping vaginally is the most accurate though...

Also, on the note of "wishing we'd start getting bfps" - I was wondering yesterday - once we get our bfp's do we stay on this thread or move off to another one?
I was wondering becuase on the one hand it's nice to stay with the ladies you've travelled a journey with, but on the other hand doesn't it start getting depressing after a while when you're STILL struggling to fall pregnant and the other ladies on the group are 28, 32, 36 weeks pregnant and looking forward to birth? Just wondering what to do if/when I get get my bfp - stay or leave? Or stay for first tri and then leave? Don't want to desert those still trying but don't want to make things harder either.

Hi Ladies

AnzelMama and Jay-Bee, I had the same experience, my friend found out in Jan that she was pregnant (after 4 months of trying) she cried everyday and couldn't understand why she didn't fall pregnant, and in Jan she let me know that she is expecting. I was also very pissed off, but I had to get over it. I am very happy that she is expecting and it is an amazing journey for her. At least I can spoil the baby :woohoo: Now the only question they keep on asking me and DH...... when are you going to have a baby :S ..... but on the same note - they know that we have been TTC  . Sometimes people don't think

I am in my TTW, my face looks like a war zone - those horrible red painful pimples under the chin and normal horrible ones on my face, sorry for TMI  . My back is killing me and I have been sneezing non stop lol (horrible allergies)

Good luck to all you beautiful ladies testing this weekend. I hope all of you get a BFP

Morning ladies,

It's the Weekend Babies! :woohoo:

@Mrs Smith - I am holding thumbs that you will get a BFP on Sunday morning. We need some BFP's here soon!

@Anzelmama - Oh goodness hun. I can only imagine how you are feeling right now with the news of your friend. And TWINS....that is so unfair. I am happy for her, but when will life start givning us favour aswell....? I also know that our hearts are longing so desperately for this that it puts us in a state where we actually start thinking and believing that we have conceived, until that AF arrives. It shatters ones heart. But I have read from the article that was posted earlier this week that we have to stay positive and it will happen. So you just keep on staying positive and try your best and it will happen.
Your symptoms are very much preggies, just like mine was. I just think you could have it twice as intense seeing that you took 100mg Fertomid. Did you start with 50mg Fertomid or were you always taking 100mg?

@Jay-bee - Ai sweetie, I know how you feel. Its terrible. And it is not like we are not happy for our friends, it is just that it is so unfair, but there is a reason for everything and we will all get our BFP's soon.
Hang in there, and take as much time off as you feel needed. I also feel the same, wanting to stop obsessing about it, but gosh it is difficult. The last month I have been focussing so much on it, it occupies every free second of my mind. I eat, sleep and llive it. It is not healthy I think, but even if I want to try and stop thinking about it, I am not succeeding....

@BD - Wow girl!!! I am holding thumbs for you for a BFP. Did you take Fertomid this cycle or nothing yet?

@MTC - how are you feeling today? Hope you are not getting down with the flu?

AFM - Well officially I am back on CD1 today (This time I promise.....). I feel so stupid after reporting that AF started and then she disappeared again. I think she was just knocking....now she finally entered.

So I ended the first Fertomid cycle on 32 days. I will start round 2 of 50mg tomorrow. (CD2-CD6).

Ladies, so if my cycle was 32 days long, do you think I ovulated on CD18? I did not test as far. This month I will do OPK tests from CD11-CD19 I think.

And then on the temp charting - does anyone know why we dont use the ear type thermometer's that gives a quicker reading than the oral ones? Just out of interest....
