@Ayesha - I've been on Glucophage for about 3 years now for insulin resistance. I also recently started taking Vitamin D and Himalaya Evecare. I didn't know that vitamin D levels can impact on fertility. but from all that I have read it does.

Any ladies in Durban have any recommendations of Gynaes? I made an appointment with Dr BN Naidoo, last FS I saw told me I would never conceive without IVF. so scared that another will confirm this. however I do need an annual check up so I thought let me try Dr Naidoo.

@mrsR i am on glucophage and staminogro it helped me fall preg before...been talking to my doc, 2 more cycles on it and then he wants to try clomid so fx for that

AFM CD10 and had some CM so really hoping that this is our month. It has already been 8 months since my MC, so seriously Must also say that the iron tables are working I am not feeling tired at all in the afternoons anymore so I am one happy lady.

Oh, wow! @Jooste! Congratulations! I'm praying that this is your sticky bean! Just try and relax and take it one day at a time. Keep us updated.

Glad that you are feeling a little better. I also tend to divulge in chocolate when I am not coping with this all. And...it does help (a little!). My AF arrived on CD30 the very cycle after I had the D&E. So...it was just 2 days later than usual. I hope yours arrive quickly. I can promise you that you will be VERY SAD when it arrives (I felt like having another MC), but two or three days later - I felt a lot better. It felt like I had another chance.

AFM:
I got a BFP on Saturday on a digital. POAS yesterday and the 2nd line appeared fairly quickly. Did another digital this morning - BFP again. Just went for bloods. In my heart I pray for a sticky HEALTHY chromosomally normal little bean that will arrive in 8 months time. But, I also try to protect my heart as much as possible and feel slightly detached from it all. Will only hear the blood results tomorrow-

wonder if I should give Femara a try.

I also used Femara in 2012 before we went for the IVF and I did not fall pg. This time around though - it is working EVERY time I use it. Similar side-effects to the Clomid / Fertomid. But...definately a lot less. Hot flushes and head aches, but not as much as I experienced on the Clomid.
