My period started yesterday so tomorrow's my 1st day of femara. I'm excited about the iui but at the same time petrified.

Hi ladies

I just got home from my gynae....i have to say I regret seeing the FS 1st, I know they specialists but my gynae really spoke us through every option we have and what to expect, my pcos has progressed worse and he advises me to try now before it's to late. My gynae really made us feel like we can conquer this and he didn't make me feel like it's my fault and that I'm failing. So now armed with all the plans we have decided to go the iui route this cycle. I'm suppose to start AF tomorrow and femara on Saturday then see him next week for tests and that....all depending on me starting AF tomorrow, for the 1st time in really long I actually have hope again....I'm excited and really praying that our rainbow baby nearly here.

Die week voor ovulasie is baie belangrik om voortplanting te begin het my gynie gese. So wees besig daai week. Ek het die Clue App gebruik om my siklus te monitor en dit het soos 'n bom vir my gewerk.

I am out, AF yesterday. 29 day cycle from 36 days in Jan we are getting somewhere.

Hey ladies,

Hope you are all doing well! Been quite an up and down for me. Started downregulation on Thursday - so I got an injection of gonalpeptyl which puts me into menopause. So that the Dr's can take control of my hormones. I am officially in the frozen embryo transfer (FET) prep phase.

I felt terrible this weekend. Hot flushes, dizzyness, nausea. not fun. But it feels like I am getting used to it now.

Today I started Doxycycline. An antibiotic to make sure that my body has not germs or viruses that could reject the embryo! Also tummy ache and nausea but I shall push on! On this for two weeks. yippee!

I found The Baby Psychic on facebook and she did a prediction reading for me. She knows NOTHING about me and doesn't know that I am doing IVF, and she predicted the exact time my baby would be born if i were to conceive end May after transfer. CRAZY! I really am praying that it works.

I switched off this weekend and it felt so good not having a phone for 72 hours lol I see all the emails and can't believe i missed so much.

I stopped bleeding on CD 18 thank goodness and my app is on Wednesday morning and I really can't wait. I need to get peace of mind and this is the way I guess. Stopped all my meds for now just till I can get answers on Wednesday. I had such a great weekend no phone...more importantly no Google....so I actually switched off my stress for the weekend which was amazing. It was just hubby, my self and relaxation.
