I'm doing a little happy dance but frustrated one as well DH worked super late yesterday and left super early today(I really hate checkers) but I got a smiley.... I just wanted to clarify does it mean I'm going to ovulate or I am? Coz I'm rereading the pamphlet here and it says you're most fertile on the day of surge and the day after. But it also says the LH surge occurs 24 to 36 hours before the egg release.

I meant to ask earlier where all our mommies are from...im from the southern suburbs of Cpt.
So im kinda bummed tonite my SO had to pick up my script yesterday as i was about to start my course today well he was unable to and promised he'd bring it home from work so i was hoping to start it tonight he clearly forgot and now im so freaking annoyed i had a go at him cause im so disappointed right now that he forgot,now im getting it myself tomorrow will it be a waste of time if i start my course a day late or should i just go on as normal and hope for the best?

@ Nicola, I stopped using CB OPK as they caused nothing but stress and are so expensive. Never got a smiley even when I ovulated, so naah

AFM, waiting for Friday as it's my OTD, nervous and excited. Having symptoms I didn't have with the failed IVF but had with my other natural conceptions. I'm constantly nauseous, have heightened smell and have a terrible break out on my face, crediting the rest of the symptoms to the progesterone.so hard not to symptom spot Counting down the days...

@chanti praying for a positive cycle Hun. Don't worry you're still a spring chicken!! I turn 36 in January fok!!! It does worry me that I'll be an older mom but I guess we will just have to keep ourselves fit as possible!!!

@ayesha I can't see your pics on my phone but I'm glad you went for a second opinion! Keep us posted and hope you get a smiley soon!!

So ladies I got a call from my clinic to say my LH levels were higher today than yesterday so looks like ovulation will happen soon! So happy!! She advised BD this eve and I'll go for one more blood test tomorrow morning just to check. Think I may do another opk this eve and tomorrow just to see if I get a smiley! If not I am defo NOT gonna bother with the CB brand again I'll rather use checkers or dischem/clicks. It has caused so much worry up till now to not get a positive result in fact the only reason they are more expensive is because they have 10 in a pack! Works out to R25 each which is the same as the other brands except they come in pack of 4 or 5! So maybe they aren't the best after all!!!

@jaybee I'm going to buy the clicks or checkers brand rather. The CB so expensive but it's so confusing. I'm tempted to buy another brand to use with the CB. Gonna speak to DH about it. As it is ttc is so complicated and now this just messes with us even more. Good luck to you and @Nicola hope we all get our smileys this month

@ Chanti, this is your month!!

@ Ayesha, It also makes me wonder as surely they should be the same or one should think that the CB more darker as it is a more expensive make and more sensitive?? I am also using the CB and having such issues as I have used it the first time for two cycles and it has never corresponded with my temp spike. I have now decided to just use the left overs I have of the CB but will be using the normal OPK's for this cycle.
