To all the ladies who are having trouble with the OPK's good luck and hope that we can get answers as I am having the same problem!
I have been researching OPK's and never had any luck with them previously but tried them my previous cycle and now with this cycle seen that we are actively ttc.
With the normal stick OPK's one should test 3x times a day leading up to ovulation and then they recommend 3-4 times a day closer to ovulation. In a perfect world the line should each day get darker than the control line and for some people it then even gets darker than the control line before it starts fading (the darkest point is called the blazing OPK) then one should ovulate 24-36h after the "blazing" OPK.
If one only uses the ClearBlue Digital Smiley, as soon as one gets a smiley it means that one has reached the "equal to control" line but for some people it is still a few days from that as the line needs to get darker than the control line which the CB digital can't detect as it only gives the smiley when one reaches the "equal to control line".
We are trying to BD as close to ovulation as possible but now I am not sure when I ovulate as have been using the CB digital and been having such trouble
