Time to begin TTC 2018!

Really sorry to hear I have had a few failed cycles and it really hurts. Yeah good idea to rather wait till you are relaxed. Iam hoping I am chilled enough for this cycle.

@Nicola that sucks. So according to your bloods you are ovulating? Fx for you...i got a smiley on this morning's tests. So I'm hoping it's lucky.

@carien thanks. I always lay in bed legs up for about half am hour (tmi) but it's suppose to help the little swimmers get to where they need to go so I'll take all the help I can get lol

@TipeeTwo - it was my birthday yesterday, thanks for the wishes I do think when you get older the "little" birthdays dont really matter only the "bigger" milestone type ones. I did have in my head to have my last baby at 37, so best I get my BFP soon!!
@Ayesha - I used the clear blue smiley ones with my first 2 pregnancies, as I understood it, if you get the smiley today, you should dtd today/tomorrow as much as you can, I lay still after and put my legs up (TMI - sorry)
@Cands - That is such awesome news!! so happy you can get started right away. Are you guys going to go straight into IVF or do a round or two of IUI? When will your DH be back? he seems to have been gone for quite a while. Its no fun when they are not here - they really do annoy the living hell out of us sometimes (@MaybeBaby) but I cant imagine my life w/o my husband. My husband traveled back and forth between here and Singapore/Hong Kong/Malaysia/Philippines at the beginning of the year through April. It really took a toll on our relationship and it took work to get back to "us" But we had a rough year before that as well so I think it was a whole lot of stuff that contributed to that, but we are all good now
@Mommies - how are you doing hun?

AFM - 2dpo now, and all I feel is fat at the moment! It is RIDICULOUS how slow your metabolism becomes when you get older!! I work out in a pretty serious cardio class 2-3 times if not 4 times a week and I think I am actually gaining fat not losing it!! Think I need to get to a dietician to just make sure that my diet is fine. I told hubby that I want a mommy makeover when we are done having babies but I sure as hell will not keep looking like this till then!!
We did have a lovely dinner last night at a place in Hyde Park (we live in Greenside in Randburg GP), we have not been in a long time since its kind of pricey, but birthdays only come round once a year My husband gave me a really nice coach wallet and had my wedding & engagement rings cleaned and rhodium plated so they look brand new, really spoiled me I made some red velvet cupcakes for work which were devoured in minutes, this recipe is sooo awesome and I have the most amazing cream cheese frosting i make with it and I only make them on my birthday but everyone remembers them, so happy that went down well as well. Anyway, I need to get some work done today, hope everyone has an amazing day! Baby dust to all!!

I bought cheep ovulation test from bid or buy and they weren't to bad, it was like 150 rand including delivery for 20 so I used 10 this month and where I normally don't get even a faint line I actually got some lines on them, I got my surge and every thing without confusion.

@chanti, I completely understand the age thing. I turned 25 in March and I cried the whole day because I should be a mother already and the longer I am with out a child the older I feel, I know I still have a lot of good fertile years ahead but I swear every time AF shows up the clock seems to tick louder

Morning ladies!

SO I went to Vitalab yesterday to get my plan. Dr said my ovaries are fuuuullll of eggies so I am allll good to go! No cysts nothing. My lining is good and we are READY!

So from tomorrow I start 5 days of Menapur injections. I am scared cause usually hubby injects me so I have to do it till he gets back. But I fully believe this is our cycle. My eggs are ready and my hubby's swimmers are a-okay so we are on the road to our BFP
